What did “24:26” mean in the Japanese schedule?
Japanese television listings often continue counting past midnight instead of immediately changing to the next calendar date. Aniplex’s listing gave the Japanese broadcast time as 24:26 on April 3 on the MBS/TBS network of 28 stations.[c003]
In ordinary calendar notation, 24:26 on April 3 is:
- 12:26 a.m. JST on Friday, April 4, 2025
There is no contradiction between the international streaming premiere on April 3 and the Japanese television listing appearing as 24:26. The Japanese notation treats the broadcast as part of the April 3 late-night programming schedule, even though the clock time falls after midnight.
Where to watch WIND BREAKER Season 2
Crunchyroll was the confirmed international streaming home for the Season 2 premiere. The announced coverage included North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and the Indian subcontinent.[c001]

A title being announced for a territory at launch does not guarantee that its catalog status, language options, or subscription requirements will remain unchanged.
In Japan, ABEMA was listed from April 3. Additional Japanese distribution services, including Netflix and Prime Video, were listed from April 7, although the exact services available depend on territory and licensing arrangements.[c003]
Is there an English dub?
The confirmed premiere time above refers to the subtitled North American release. Dub availability and dub schedules can differ from the subtitled release and may vary by language, country, and platform. Check the audio and subtitle options shown in the streaming service rather than assuming that every version was released simultaneously.
How many episodes are in Season 2?
WIND BREAKER Season 2 has 12 episodes. Because Episode 12 has been released and the official Blu-ray is marketed as a three-disc box containing all 12 episodes, viewers do not need to wait for a future premiere or a remaining batch of Season 2 episodes.[c004][c005]
The countdown has ended
Pages that still display “WIND BREAKER Season 2 Release Date and Time (Countdown Timer)” should not show April 3, 2025 as an upcoming date. The correct status is:
If a countdown widget remains on the page, it should be disabled or replaced with a completed-season message. Presenting the season as an upcoming 2026 release would be incorrect.
Can you own the complete season?
The official English-language product page lists a WIND BREAKER Season 2 Complete Blu-ray Box released on July 6, 2026. The three-disc set includes all 12 episodes, textless opening and ending sequences, a booklet, and a Nirei secret-notepad bonus.[c004]

Season 2 continues CloverWorks’ anime adaptation of Satoru Nii’s manga. The official Season 2 announcement highlighted the KEEL arc and introduced Shingo Natori, an antagonist voiced by Junya Enoki.[c002][c006] Those details provide context for the sequel, but the key release facts remain unchanged: the season premiered on April 3, 2025, and all 12 episodes are now complete.
