What files were identified?
A company filing seeking to seal an exhibit described it as a 746-page list of files allegedly taken. The filing said the material included financial data, transaction memoranda, employee compensation information, and capitalization tables. Did the judge dismiss the lawsuit?
No. On July 31, 2025, Judge James C. Dever III denied Nabors’s motion to dismiss, finding that the court had subject-matter jurisdiction and that the company had plausibly alleged its claims. The order states: “The court DENIES defendant‘s motion to dismiss [D.E. 17]. The court has subject-matter jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1331 and § 1367(a). Plaintiff plausibly alleges its claims.”

The docket records that Nabors filed an answer on August 13, 2025. On September 17, the court issued a scheduling order setting January 31, 2026, as the discovery deadline and February 14, 2026, as the deadline for motions; the docket said a trial date would be set separately. Case docket
Was the case settled?
Law360 reported on February 11, 2026, that MrBeastYouTube and Nabors told the judge they had reached a settlement in principle. That report does not establish that they completed a final settlement, that the court dismissed the case, or what any settlement terms were.
