Jennifer Aydin was removed from the Fans at Sea “Wives on the Waves” cruise after videos of her criticizing employees at an airport Jersey Mike’s circulated online. Aydin said she learned she was off the lineup while on vacation, accepted the organizer’s decision and later said she should not have posted the clips.
Why was Jennifer Aydin removed from the cruise?
The reported trigger was an Instagram Story Aydin posted on New Year’s Day 2025 about a wait and service at an airport Jersey Mike’s. The video included criticism of an employee and an exchange with another customer, according to PEOPLE’s reporting republished by AOL. The original Stories expired; a fan account later reposted video.
The accounts of what happened inside the restaurant came from Aydin’s social-media posts and subsequent interviews. They do not independently establish every detail of the dispute. In her interview with Us Weekly on January 9, Aydin characterized the staff as “very highly dismissive” to people in line; that was her description, not a verified finding about the employees.
What Aydin and the organizer said
Aydin told Us Weekly she realized she had been removed after noticing her name was no longer on the cruise website while she was on vacation. She said, “I understand that this is totally business and I respect the cruise’s decision.” She also acknowledged, “I’m one that takes full responsibility and accountability for my actions. When I feel I’m wrong, I should not have posted it.”
