How many children did Quincy Jones have?
The children attributed to Jones’s three marriages are:
- With Jeri Caldwell: Jolie.
- With Ulla Andersson: Martina and Quincy Jones III.
- With Peggy Lipton: Kidada and Rashida.
Jones also had children with other partners. The Guardian’s obituary identifies Rachel and Kenya as children from other relationships, making clear that the phrase “three wives” does not account for every mother of his children. An Associated Press obituary described Jones as a father of seven children by five mothers; that broader figure should not be read as meaning all seven children came from his marriages.
