WWE is part of TKO Group Holdings, Inc., the publicly traded parent company whose businesses include WWE. In its latest cited ownership disclosure, TKO said Endeavor Group Holdings and its subsidiaries held approximately 64.1% of TKO’s voting interest as of June 30, 2026. That makes the Endeavor group the disclosed majority controller of WWE’s parent—not the direct owner of 64.1% of WWE as a standalone company.
How WWE’s ownership is structured
WWE’s operating entity, World Wrestling Entertainment, LLC, sits within TKO’s corporate structure. TKO’s second-quarter 2026 filing describes WWE LLC as a wholly owned subsidiary and says its equity interests were contributed to TKO Operating Company. WWE’s official company overview puts the relationship simply: “WWE is part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO).” TKO’s Q2 2026 SEC filing · WWE’s company overview
- Operating company: World Wrestling Entertainment, LLC.
- Public parent: TKO Group Holdings, Inc., listed on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker TKO.
- Disclosed voting controller: Endeavor Group Holdings and its subsidiaries, which reported approximately 64.1% of TKO’s voting interest as of June 30, 2026.
The 64.1% figure is a voting-interest disclosure for TKO. It should not be described as Endeavor owning that percentage of WWE’s standalone equity. TKO investor relations
Is WWE owned by Endeavor?
In the practical sense of control through its parent, yes: TKO’s filing identifies Endeavor Group Holdings and its subsidiaries as holding a majority of TKO’s voting interest at the stated reporting date. More precisely, WWE is part of TKO, and the Endeavor group is the disclosed majority voting holder of TKO. The evidence cited here does not establish the full upstream beneficial ownership of Endeavor, so it does not support naming an individual or fund as WWE’s direct owner.

Why the 51% and 49% figures are different
At TKO’s launch on September 12, 2023, Endeavor held a 51% controlling interest and former WWE shareholders held a 49% interest on a fully diluted basis. Those were the transaction’s launch terms, not the latest ownership disclosure. TKO later reported the approximately 64.1% voting-interest figure for the Endeavor group as of June 30, 2026; the two numbers refer to different dates and measures. Is WWE publicly traded?
WWE is not the publicly listed issuer identified by TKO’s investor-relations page. TKO Group Holdings, Inc. is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange as TKO, and WWE is one of the businesses within TKO. TKO investor relations

Does Vince McMahon own WWE, or do WWE executives own it?
The cited company and filing information places WWE within TKO and identifies the Endeavor group’s voting interest in TKO; it does not establish Vince McMahon as WWE’s current direct owner. WWE’s listed leadership roles are separate from ownership: Nick Khan is President and Paul Levesque is Chief Content Officer. Those titles describe operating leadership, not share ownership.
