Before reaching that title, she built her career across wrestling promotions and WWE’s NXT brand. Vaquer has also explained that her distinctive face makeup reflects recovery from a serious injury and her connection to the Japanese art of kintsugi; the horns began as a one-show look she kept after fans responded to them.
Who is Stephanie Vaquer?
Vaquer is a professional wrestler from San Fernando, Chile. WWE’s official profile lists her signature moves as the Devil’s Kiss, SVB and Vaquer Inferno, and identifies her as Women’s World Champion. Her rise has taken her from NXT title wins to the top women’s championship on WWE’s main roster.
What championships has she won in WWE?
WWE’s profile and match reports describe a sequence of major title milestones:
- NXT Women’s North American Championship: Vaquer won the title at Vengeance Day 2025.
- NXT Women’s Championship: At Roadblock 2025, she defeated Giulia and became a double champion, holding two NXT titles.
- Women’s World Championship: WWE reported that Vaquer defeated IYO SKY for the vacant title at Wrestlepalooza in September 2025. WWE’s January 5, 2026 report said she had successfully defended it in a Triple Threat Match against Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella.
WWE’s current profile lists her as Women’s World Champion and labels her championship record “x2,” but the captured profile text does not provide a full reign-by-reign account. The dated match reports establish the results at those events, not the outcome of any later defense.

How did she get to WWE and NXT?
In a September 16, 2025 interview with Chris Van Vliet, Vaquer said she had spent 11 years wrestling before joining WWE. She recounted that she did not feel ready at a 2018 WWE tryout, then traveled, learned from different companies and coaches, and returned to WWE seven years later. This is her own account of her experience and chronology.
Vaquer said WWE asked whether she wanted to begin on the main roster or in NXT. Although she initially answered main roster, she chose NXT to learn WWE’s style and Performance Center training, improve her English, and build her career gradually. As she put it, “I’m in no rush. I like to do things step by step, no rush, and I need to learn English. I need to learn the style.”

What does Stephanie Vaquer’s face makeup mean?
Vaquer has said that her face makeup recalls a serious facial injury early in her career and her later discovery of kintsugi in Japan. Kintsugi is the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold or silver. In the interview, she connected its image of something broken being repaired and made stronger with her own recovery: “So when I learned about the history of Kintsugi. I say, Okay, I make my makeup, and I remember I literally broke my face.” This is Vaquer’s explanation of her look.
Why does she wear horns?
Vaquer said she first wore horns as a distinctive look for one show. People liked them, so she kept wearing them. She has also described wrestling as a form of communication that crosses language barriers: “Because in the ring, don’t care if you speak English, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, it’s wrestling.”
