PGA TOUR telecast notes report that Shane and Wendy eloped in New York City in 2016. The notes also say their elder daughter, Iris, was born in 2017. The PGA TOUR’s 2018–19 media guide likewise lists 2017 as Iris’s birth year.

How many children do Shane and Wendy have?
The couple have two daughters: Iris and Ivy. Both names appear in Shane’s current PGA TOUR profile. The tour’s 2025 Memorial Tournament telecast notes list Iris’s birth year as 2017 and Ivy’s as 2021.
Why is there little public information about Wendy?
Golf Monthly, reporting on a comment Shane Lowry gave to the Irish Independent about the wedding, quotes him describing Wendy as someone who “doesn’t like the limelight or anything like that” and saying, “It was really all very chilled.” That is a reported description in the context of their wedding; it does not establish further details about Wendy’s preferences or private life.
