Are Britney Theriot and Russell Crowe engaged or married?
No marriage was verified in the available research, and Theriot should not be described as Crowe’s wife. Reports of an alleged engagement circulated previously, but Crowe’s reported comments in November 2025 are more recent and directly contradict the idea that a wedding was confirmed or imminent. He reportedly said that he did not want to marry again. [November 2025 report]
The most accurate descriptions are therefore girlfriend and partner. Calling Theriot Crowe’s fiancée or wife would go beyond the evidence currently available.

Theriot’s best-known acting credit is her role as Valerie in Broken City. IMDb also lists her in assistant or additional-crew roles connected with several Crowe-related productions, including The Greatest Beer Run Ever, Land of Bad, Sleeping Dogs, The Exorcism, Kraven the Hunter and Nuremberg. Because IMDb is a user-maintained industry database, those listings should be described as database-listed credits rather than independently verified employment history. View Theriot’s IMDb page.
Some entertainment reports have also characterized Theriot as offering support during Crowe’s musical performances. That is a secondary-media description and is not necessary to establish who she is or the status of their relationship.
What is the age difference between them?

The couple appears to maintain a relatively private relationship. The public record consists mainly of event photographs, entertainment reporting and occasional comments attributed to Crowe. That record supports describing their public appearances without speculating about their private life.
The film connection: Broken City
For viewers interested in the documentary-style story behind the headlines, Broken City is the clearest link between the two before their relationship became public. Crowe plays a powerful mayor caught in a political scandal, while Theriot has a smaller credited role as Valerie. Their shared appearance in the film is a confirmed professional fact, but claims that they began a romance on its set remain unsupported by the research available here.
