Rising through Alaska charter fishing
According to Bravo, Gerber built her experience on Alaska’s charter fishing boats, moving up through vessel jobs in cold and rough conditions. The profile does not name specific boats for this early period, so the details here are limited to the general career path it describes.
Captain in 2015 and the 36-foot catamaran
Bravo says Gerber became a captain in 2015. It also says she served as co-captain and first mate on a 36-foot aluminum catamaran. These are the network’s own figures. They have not been checked against a licensing or vessel registry, so readers should treat them as Bravo’s account rather than independently confirmed records.

Work after her season on the My Seanna
Bravo’s profile ties Gerber to a season aboard the My Seanna and then describes the work that followed. The sequence it gives is:
- Summer fishing work back in Alaska.
- A brief stint in Hawaii on a dolphin and turtle boat.
- Fishing charter trips in Key West.
- A return to Florida to be near family, where she helped a longtime friend with faux-teak work and painted components of sport-fishing yachts.
None of these roles has been independently verified as current employment, and the profile does not say how long each one lasted.
