What is Sean Penn’s Superpower about?
Superpower is a 2023 documentary feature co-directed by Sean Penn and Aaron Kaufman. The project began as a film about Volodymyr Zelensky, the former comedic actor who became Ukraine’s president. Its scope changed after Russia launched its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022.
Paramount’s release describes a film following Zelensky’s leadership and Ukraine’s struggle for freedom.
