U.S. viewers can stream all eight original Harry Potter films with Peacock Premium or Premium Plus. Max is also listed as carrying the complete series in current U.S. availability checks. Peacock Premium is the lowest verified subscription tier that includes the movies; Premium Plus generally removes ads. If you do not want a subscription, you can rent or buy the films through digital stores such as Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, and Fandango At Home. Availability and prices below were checked August 16, 2026, and can change.

Peacock’s own guide uses “exclusive” marketing language, but that should not be read as an uncontested claim that no other service carries the films: the official Wizarding World guide and current U.S. title listings also identify Max. See Peacock’s streaming guide, its Harry Potter collection, and the Wizarding World regional guide.
The eight Harry Potter films in release order
This list means the eight theatrical Harry Potter films, not the separate Fantastic Beasts prequel series or the forthcoming television adaptation. In the United States, the first film is called Sorcerer’s Stone; Philosopher’s Stone is the same movie under its international title.
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001) — Also listed internationally as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011)
Peacock’s collection page lists all eight titles and release years. Current U.S. listings checked in late July 2026 also showed the individual films on Max and Peacock, with rental or purchase choices from major digital stores.

How to watch the marathon on Peacock
- Open Peacock and select a paid plan.
- Choose Premium or Premium Plus; Select does not include movies.
- Search for the Harry Potter collection rather than relying on a single-film search result.
- Start with Sorcerer’s Stone and continue through Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
- Before pressing play, check the individual listing for the available cut, audio, subtitles, and any “extended” label.
Peacock Premium vs. Premium Plus
Peacock Premium: $10.99 monthly or $109.99 annually
Premium is the cheapest Peacock plan that includes the eight movies. It carries ads and is the straightforward choice if price matters more than uninterrupted viewing. The annual price is marketed as 12 months for the price of 10; confirm the total and any promotion at checkout.
Peacock Premium Plus: $16.99 monthly or $169.99 annually
Premium Plus is aimed at viewers who want a less interrupted marathon and eligible downloads. “Generally ad-free” is not the same as completely ad-free: Peacock says exceptions can include certain channels, live events, sponsored content, and other programming. Review the current plan terms before subscribing.
Why Select is not enough
Peacock Select costs less, but its plan description excludes movies. Choosing it will not unlock the Harry Potter collection.

Watching the films on Max
The official Wizarding World guide says the eight films are available on Max and Peacock in the United States and Canada, and current U.S. title listings checked for this guide showed Max availability. If you already pay for Max, it may be the most economical route because you do not need a second subscription. Search the franchise or verify each title in your account before starting: streaming rights can change, and a Max subscription purchased as a channel add-on may have different billing, app, download, or cancellation rules than a direct Max plan. Do not assume that an unverified Max price or a third-party bundle has the same terms.

Renting or buying without a subscription
Rent one film
Rentals are sensible when you need one movie, are introducing the series to someone, or do not want to create another account. A rental normally gives you a limited viewing window, so check the retailer’s activation and expiration rules before pressing play.
Buy individual titles
Purchasing works well for a favorite film but can cost more than a subscription across all eight. Check whether the listing is HD or UHD, which devices support playback, and how the retailer handles downloads and library access.
Buy a complete collection
Amazon Video is an example of a store offering individual rentals, individual purchases, and, when available, an eight-film bundle. One listing checked for this guide showed a $4.99 UHD rental, a $14.99 UHD purchase, and an eight-film collection at $79.99. Those are dated examples, not fixed prices. Bundle contents, picture quality, and promotions vary by retailer.
Rank #4
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (152 mins) – The magical adventure begins as Harry arrives at Hogwarts.
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (161 mins) – Flying cars, deadly secrets, and an ominous warning await in Harry’s second year.
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (142 mins) – Dementors arrive and Harry uncovers a mysterious connection to a dangerous prisoner.
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (157 mins) – Deadly tournaments and the rise of Lord Voldemort put Harry to the ultimate test.
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (138 mins) – As few believe Voldemort’s return, Harry must secretly prepare his friends for war.
JustWatch’s U.S. listings identify Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, and Fandango At Home as rental or purchase outlets for individual films. A digital purchase is a license governed by the retailer’s terms, not the same thing as owning a disc, and it may be easiest to watch inside the ecosystem where you bought it.
Are extended versions available?
Peacock advertises “Extended Versions Available Now on Peacock” on its Harry Potter collection page. That wording does not establish that every film has an extended cut or that the same cut appears on every service and in every country. Open the individual title page and confirm whether the listing is theatrical or extended before beginning your marathon.

Harry Potter versus Fantastic Beasts
This guide covers the eight original Harry Potter films only. Fantastic Beasts is a separate three-film prequel series set in the same Wizarding World. Its availability and viewing order should be checked separately; adding it would make the list longer than the eight-film Harry Potter series promised here.
Availability outside the United States
Streaming rights are territorial. A film available on Peacock or Max in the U.S. may be absent, licensed to another service, or offered under a different title in the U.K., Canada, Australia, or elsewhere. The official Wizarding World guide provides regional direction. Use a country-specific availability tracker and confirm the title in your local service before paying. Search results can also use “Philosopher’s Stone” instead of the U.S. “Sorcerer’s Stone.”
Common problems before you press play
- Wrong Peacock plan: Select excludes movies; switch to Premium or Premium Plus.
- Only one film appears: Open the franchise collection or check titles individually rather than trusting an incomplete site search.
- Unexpected ads: Premium includes ads, and Premium Plus still has Peacock’s stated exceptions.
- Different cut: Theatrical and extended listings may be separate; verify the version.
- Country mismatch: U.S. rights do not guarantee access elsewhere.
- Channel confusion: An add-on through another platform may not provide identical app, profile, download, or cancellation features.
- Price changed: Rentals, purchases, bundles, annual plans, and promotions are volatile; confirm the checkout total.
- “Free” stream claims: The verified options here are paid subscriptions, rentals, or purchases. Treat any free trial as promotional and eligibility-dependent, and avoid unofficial or pirated streams.
Which option should you choose?
- Choose Peacock Premium for the lowest clearly verified paid subscription tier containing all eight films.
- Choose Premium Plus if reducing ads and using eligible downloads matters more than the extra monthly cost.
- Choose Max if you already subscribe and each film is available in your account.
- Rent digitally when you need only one movie.
- Buy a digital collection when you want long-term access and a current bundle discount beats the alternatives.
- Use physical discs when stable access to a particular cut, unreliable internet, or collector packaging matters more than streaming convenience.
