K MANGA is organized around serialized reading. A chapter may be available freely as part of the service’s daily or ongoing release structure, while other chapters use points. That makes it a good fit for readers who are happy to follow a series gradually, but less suitable for someone who wants to binge every available volume immediately.
Check the chapter page for the current free status before assuming that an entire series is free. Availability may also depend on region and the specific title.

5. Comikey: best for several kinds of free access
Comikey is a legal digital comic platform that says it holds the rights to the content it hosts. Its publishing partners include Shogakukan’s MangaOne division, Hakusensha, Square Enix, Coamix, Compass, and others.
Comikey is different from a simple “free chapter” site because the free route can vary by title. Its FAQ describes several mechanisms:

Why unofficial manga sites are a poor substitute
Search results may also show scanlation aggregators or sites that repost manga without authorization. They should not be treated as equivalent to the services above. Unauthorized sites can disappear without notice, publish incomplete or altered translations, expose readers to aggressive advertising or malicious downloads, and provide no reliable support for the creators or license holders.
If an official service does not carry a title, try this order instead:
- Search the publisher or license holder’s official service.

For Kodansha

For a full digital volume
