As of a June 2026 interview, Stormy Daniels was touring with Unicorns in the Kitchen, a comedy and storytelling show that draws on her adult-entertainment career, family life and political scandal, and includes audience Q&A. The San Antonio interview covered a tour stop; it does not establish where she lives or provide a complete tour schedule. Her legal history also involves separate proceedings: an unsuccessful civil defamation suit she filed in 2018 and the later criminal business-records case against Donald Trump.
What Stormy Daniels is doing now
The San Antonio Current’s June 9, 2026 interview described Daniels’s comedy and storytelling tour, Unicorns in the Kitchen. The show brings together stories from her years in adult entertainment with reflections on family life and political scandal, then makes room for audience questions.

Daniels told the publication she chose the name in part to avoid a search result immediately surfacing her adult films: “I wanted words that, if you Googled them, didn’t bring up any of my adult movies,” she said. The interview identified her as 47 at the time. It offers a dated view of her public work, not confirmation of her current residence, relationship status or a full itinerary.
Why her lawsuit and Trump’s criminal case are different
The phrase “after she sued Donald Trump” can blur two distinct legal tracks. Daniels filed a civil defamation lawsuit against Trump in 2018. The later New York criminal case was brought by prosecutors over business records tied to a payment to Daniels; she was a witness in that case, not its plaintiff.

- In this book, Stormy Daniels tells her whole story for the first time: what it's like to be a leading actress and director in the adult film business, the full truth about her journey from a rough childhood in Louisiana onto the national stage, and everything about her interaction with Donald Trump that led to the nondisclosure agreement and the behind-the-scenes attempts to intimidate her.
| Proceeding | What it concerned | Outcome or status |
|---|---|---|
| Daniels’s 2018 civil defamation suit | Her lawsuit against Trump, which Reuters described in a May 2024 factbox as an unsuccessful defamation case. | Reuters reported that a $100,000 legal-fee award was made against Daniels. Reuters, May 2024. |
| New York criminal business-records case | Records associated with the hush-money payment. The case was not a trial of whether Daniels’s account of an alleged encounter was true. | A New York jury found Trump guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in May 2024. In an August 28, 2026 report, the Associated Press said Trump was challenging the state conviction through the state appellate process, which remained pending. A federal judge had again rejected his effort to move the case to federal court and have it dismissed on presidential-immunity grounds. Associated Press, August 28, 2026. |
The count of 34 refers to the business-records verdict, not a finding about the alleged encounter. The AP report described the state appeal as pending; it did not say all appeals were complete.
What Daniels alleged, and what the public record says
A New York court filing reproduced an account in which Stephanie Clifford, professionally known as Stormy Daniels, alleged that she met Trump at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe in July 2006. The excerpt also records denials and says that the account did not allege a nonconsensual interaction. The encounter remains an allegation disputed by Trump, not an adjudicated finding. New York court filing.
At Trump’s 2024 trial, Daniels testified about the alleged encounter and events surrounding the payment. Her testimony also included figures about documentary rights: the Associated Press reported that she said she received $100,000 and was due another $25,000 for footage and other rights provided to documentary makers. Those amounts describe her historical testimony, not a general estimate of her earnings. AP also reported that she testified she was not paid for her 60 Minutes interview. Associated Press, May 9, 2024.
