Tori Spelling’s reported homes range from her parents’ Holmby Hills mansion, where she says she lived for about two years as a teenager, to homes she shared with Dean McDermott and later rentals. The available reporting supports a timeline of several significant residences—not a complete inventory of every place she has lived.
The Manor in Holmby Hills: her parents’ home
The sprawling Holmby Hills estate known as The Manor, or “Candyland,” was her parents’ house—not the home where Tori Spelling says she grew up. In a 90210MG conversation with Jennie Garth, quoted by EL PAÍS in 2022, Spelling said: “The biggest misconception is that I grew up in the house.” She added: “We moved there when I was like 17. So I spent like two years there.”
The Los Angeles Times reported that the 56,500-square-foot mansion was completed in 1991. Those figures describe the property and its completion, not the duration of Spelling’s family’s ownership or her entire childhood.
Encino: a jointly owned home
In 2008, Spelling and McDermott bought a six-bedroom Encino house for $2.945 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. The 6,718-square-foot home appeared on their reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. The couple sold it for $2.5 million in 2011. Realtor.com later identified the buyer as Jermaine Jones and also connected the property with the show.

Malibu: a reported 2011 purchase
The Los Angeles Times reported that the couple bought a Malibu home in fall 2011 for $2.4 million. The paper described it as a three-bedroom, 2,300-square-foot house on about 1.75 acres. The available reporting establishes the purchase, but not when Spelling and McDermott left or whether the home was later sold.
Reported rental moves: Hidden Hills and Woodland Hills
A January 2024 Realtor.com article reported that a former short-term rental in Woodland Hills was listed for $16,500 a month. That was the property’s listing price, not a confirmed amount Spelling paid. The home was described as a three-bedroom main house with a one-bedroom guesthouse.

The same article attributed to the Daily Mail a sequence in which Spelling moved from a Hidden Hills home to motels, then an RV, and later the Woodland Hills rental after a mold issue. This is a retrospectively reported account, rather than independently established property history.
Latest reported residence: a California rental
In February 2026, Realtor.com reported that Spelling lived in a California rental understood to be in the Calabasas area, with rent estimated at around $12,000 a month. The location and amount were presented as qualified reporting, not as a verified address or confirmed lease. The article is the latest residence report in this timeline; it does not establish where she lives now.

What the timeline establishes
- Holmby Hills: Spelling says she moved into her parents’ mansion at about 17 and spent roughly two years there.
- Encino: She and McDermott bought a home in 2008 and sold it in 2011, according to the Los Angeles Times.
- Malibu: The couple’s 2011 purchase is reported, but the end of their time there is not established in the available coverage.
- Woodland Hills and the Calabasas area: Later reports describe rentals, with different levels of certainty about the move sequence, location, and rent.
These reports identify several notable places associated with Spelling, but do not document every residence or provide a definitive, continuous record of where she lived.
