There is no verified public inventory or count of Bruno Mars’s personal sneakers. What is documented instead is a handful of footwear references: a named pair he wore to the 2018 Grammys, earlier editorial comparisons to familiar sneaker styles, and a 2021 fashion collaboration that included footwear.
Which sneakers has Bruno Mars been seen wearing?
Off-White x Nike Prestos at the 2018 Grammys
GQ identified the sneakers Mars wore at the 2018 Grammy Awards as Off-White x Nike Prestos. That is the clearest named model in the public record cited here. It documents a particular event look; it does not establish that Mars still owns the pair or that the shoes are currently available.
Converse- and Vans-style comparisons in 2011
A 2011 Vogue Italia fashion feature compared sneakers in one Mars outfit to Converse All Stars and described slip-ons in another as Vans-style. Those are editorial style comparisons, not precise model identifications.
What do interviews say about his shoes?
In a 2017 Evening Standard interview reproduced by writer David Smyth, Mars discusses buying basketball shoes in London, and the passage refers to a “mighty collection.” It gives no count, itemized list, or confirmation that the collection consists only of sneakers.
#1 Best Overall

- Enhanced cushioning around ankle collar for superior comfort
- Deluxe Comfort System sockliner molds to your foot for ultimate step-in comfort
- Charged Cushioning midsole provides all day comfort with responsiveness & durability

In a 2016 interview about the recording-studio dress code for 24K Magic, Mars said he would wear “my finest shoes” while working on songs. The CBS News report, published November 18, 2016, quotes him describing dressing up rather than wearing sweats. The remark is about his studio attire; it does not identify a shoe model or describe a sneaker collection.
How does the Ricky Regal collaboration fit in?
On March 1, 2021, Lacoste announced a collaboration with Mars under his designer alter ego, Ricky Regal. Its first lifestyle collection included ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories, but the announcement did not name a specific sneaker model. Mars explained the alter ego this way: “When I’m on stage my name is Bruno Mars. When I’m making lavish luxurious garments, I go by Ricky Regal.”

Lacoste’s announcement said the collection was scheduled to launch through 18 exclusive wholesale retailers on March 5, 2021, followed by selected Lacoste stores and lacoste.com on March 8. Those dates describe the original launch schedule, not present-day stock or availability.

No reliable figure or complete personal inventory is established by these sources. The public examples show a few documented appearances, comments, and a footwear-inclusive collaboration; they cannot be treated as a complete catalog of what Mars owns. The “18” in Lacoste’s announcement refers to wholesale retailers for the 2021 launch, not to pairs, models, or the size of a collection.
