Architectural Digest reported on July 3, 2025, that he had owned and maintained the property since 2014; that report does not confirm where he lives today, on October 8, 2026.
Bruno Mars’s reported home in Studio City
Architectural Digest’s July 2025 account identifies a two-acre Studio City estate as Mars’s home. The Los Angeles Times reported in 2015 that he paid $6.5 million for the property and that the house measures 9,033 square feet. Those are historical figures reported at the time of the purchase, not an estimate of the home’s value today.

The property is described as a Mediterranean-style mansion. The neighborhood-level reporting is the appropriate level of detail for a public account of a private residence; no street address is needed to answer where Mars has been reported to live.
What is known—and not known—about where he lives now
The latest residence-specific report located is Architectural Digest’s July 3, 2025 overview, which says Mars still maintained the Studio City home. It is a dated published account, not live confirmation of his occupancy in October 2026. No direct, date-current statement from Mars confirming that he occupies the home was located.

His Honolulu upbringing is separate from the question of his current residence. GQ’s 2013 profile and CBS’s 2017 60 Minutes interview discuss his background and career, but do not establish where he lives now.
Bruno Mars’s reported former homes
Earlier property coverage includes homes in Honolulu and on Mulholland Drive. Both were reported sold in 2015, so they should be understood as part of his property history rather than as current residences.

| Studio City, Los Angeles | Purchased in 2014; still maintained as of July 2025, according to Architectural Digest | The Los Angeles Times reported a $6.5 million purchase and 9,033-square-foot house in 2015, on a two-acre lot. The figures describe the property and transaction as reported then. |
| Mulholland Drive, Hollywood Hills | Purchased in 2012; sold in 2015 | Architectural Digest reports a roughly 4,000-square-foot, three-bedroom home, bought for about $3.25 million and sold for $3.35 million. The Los Angeles Times reported the off-market sale in November 2015. |
| Honolulu | Purchased in 2012; sold in 2015 | The Los Angeles Times reported a $2.7 million sale in June 2015 and described a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath, 4,124-square-foot home. Architectural Digest says Mars bought the house for his mother. |
The Honolulu home and his family connection
Architectural Digest attributes the account of buying the Honolulu property for his mother to Mars. In a 2016 Rolling Stone feature, as quoted by the magazine, he recalled her calling to say she and the grandchildren were enjoying the pool and yard. That recollection concerns the former Honolulu home; it does not indicate that the family lives there now.
