In May 2025, the network announced a separate new series featuring Reza Farahan, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Mercedes “MJ” Javid. Other alumni have pursued business, family life and work away from the show, though public updates about them are less complete.
What happened to Shahs of Sunset?
Shahs of Sunset premiered in 2012 and ran for nine seasons before Bravo canceled it in 2022, according to the network’s May 7, 2025 announcement. That announcement was for a different Bravo series, not a revival of the original show. Bravo named Reza Farahan, GG and MJ as its returning trio at that time.
The network described the new show as following the three in the Valley and said, “As they take on the next stage of life in the Valley, their world is bigger, their circle is bolder and their challenges are more real than ever.” That is promotional language from the announcement, rather than an independent assessment of how their lives have changed.
The returning Bravo trio
Reza Farahan: real estate, home design and a marriage he celebrates publicly
Bravo’s May 2025 update describes Reza as a realtor and home designer. It also noted his public posts celebrating his marriage to Adam Neely. That is a dated snapshot of what he shared publicly, not a guarantee of their current relationship status.

GG: motherhood, entrepreneurship and an uncertain WuSah update
Bravo identifies GG as an entrepreneur and podcast host and reports that she founded cannabis business WuSah in 2018. In a podcast appearance cited by Bravo in February 2025, GG said the business had slowed and hinted that something might return soon. That does not confirm that WuSah is currently operating or that products are available.
GG is mother to Elijah. Bravo also reported that she married Dennis DeSantis in November 2024 and that the marriage was annulled two weeks later. In a January 2026 Parade interview, she discussed life after divorce, motherhood, marijuana use and rheumatoid arthritis. Those are her personal comments, not medical advice or evidence about treatment.

MJ: real estate work and a reported divorce
MJ returned to Bravo’s announced trio while continuing in real estate. Bravo’s October 27, 2025 update identifies her as an agent at Mauricio Umansky’s The Agency and describes her selling homes in the Valley.
In a later report dated November 11, 2025, Bravo said MJ and Tommy Feight were divorcing after seven years of marriage. The report said they had moved from their family home to separate nearby homes and were focusing on their son. This later update supersedes Bravo’s older May 2025 description of them as together.

Alumni whose paths took them away from the show
Asa Soltan Rahmati: a book and a less certain current picture
Us Weekly’s June 20, 2025 cast roundup reports that Asa left after season six, published Golden: Empowering Rituals to Conjure Your Inner Priestess in 2016, and has a son with Jermaine Jackson Jr. Those details mark work and family life beyond the series, but they do not establish her full current career. Bravo’s news index lists a January 21, 2026 update about her career, family and relationship; the available reporting here does not establish the details of that update.
Other former cast members: brief, uneven snapshots
The June 2025 Us Weekly roundup offers scattered updates on the wider ensemble rather than equally detailed, current biographies. It describes Sammy Younai as a real-estate developer who continued guest appearances, and notes Lilly Ghalichi’s businesses and family, Destiney Rose’s event-planning background and son, Nema Vand’s involvement through the show’s cancellation, Asifa Mirza’s role as a regional vice president at VitaTek, and Shervin Roohparvar’s entrepreneurial background.

The roundup also recounts previously reported legal matters involving Mike Shouhed, including a diversion program and an allegation in a civil suit. Those are attributed reports, not a statement of a current legal outcome. More broadly, the sparse and differently dated updates mean it is not possible to give every former cast member the same confident “where are they now” account.
