The original Netflix “Where Are They Now?” update was a June 2024 snapshot of a few stars from America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, not a current directory of everyone featured. Since then, Netflix has released Seasons 2 and 3 and reported that Reece Weaver retired after three seasons. Here’s what the dated official updates say—and where they do not establish what happened next.
What happened to the original Season 1 standouts?
Netflix’s June 2024 follow-up revisited Victoria Kalina, Kelcey Wetterberg and Reece Weaver after Season 1. Their comments and plans belong to that moment; they should not be read as a current update unless a later report confirms them.
Victoria Kalina
In the 2024 update, Victoria reflected that she still had more to give as a performer. The official updates covered here do not establish a newer definitive account of her personal life or work. Netflix’s June 2024 status update
Kelcey Wetterberg
Kelcey said in the same update that she had retired from the team and expected to return for occasional performances as an All Star. She was considering coaching or doing more performance work, and said she was looking forward to travel and her wedding. Those were plans and reflections at the time; the update does not confirm which of them later happened. Netflix’s June 2024 status update

Reece Weaver
Netflix’s Season 2 cast guide said Reece married Will in April 2024, had left flower-shop work and was trying to build a social-media career. In its Season 3 cast guide, Netflix described her as a third-year candidate and listed her occupation as creative content coordinator and floral designer. Those bios describe her at the time of those season cycles, rather than confirming a present-day job. In June 2026, Reece told Netflix she had retired after three seasons with the DCC. She described uncertainty about what would come next: “The scary part is I don’t know where I’m landing, and so it’s just about going into the unknown.” The interview does not establish a specific subsequent job. The guide’s candidate label describes her status in that cycle; it does not by itself establish a final-squad outcome. Netflix’s Season 3 cast guide
