Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is already streaming on Paramount+ in the United States. The eighth film in the Tom Cruise-led franchise arrived on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada on December 4, 2025. It is included with a qualifying Paramount+ subscription; viewers can also rent or buy it separately through digital retailers.
Where to watch Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning in the U.S.
The primary subscription-streaming home is Paramount+. Paramount announced the U.S. and Canada streaming launch for December 4, 2025, and the film is now listed in Paramount+’s movie catalog.
That means you do not need to pay a separate rental fee if you already have an eligible Paramount+ plan. Catalogs can change, however, so availability should be confirmed in the Paramount+ app or on its website when you are ready to watch.
When did it start streaming?
The Final Reckoning began streaming on Paramount+ in the United States and Canada on December 4, 2025. That date is past, so there is no need to wait for a future streaming release in the U.S.

Paramount’s announcement confirmed the U.S. and Canada specifically. It did not establish the same date for every international Paramount+ market.
How much does Paramount+ cost?
The official Paramount+ signup page showed these U.S. monthly price signals:
- Essential: $8.99 per month, with advertising.
- Premium: $13.99 per month, advertised as ad-free except for certain live-TV advertising and sponsorship material.
These are prices seen on Paramount+’s official page, not permanent rates. Promotions, annual-plan discounts, taxes, plan names and advertising terms may differ. Premium also includes features such as downloads, while supported titles may offer 4K UHD, Dolby Vision or HDR10 depending on the device and internet connection.

Can you rent or buy it instead?
Yes. U.S. viewers who do not want a Paramount+ subscription can generally rent or purchase the film through digital storefronts including:
- Amazon Video / Prime Video Store
- Apple TV Store
- Fandango At Home
A U.S. availability snapshot listed the rental at approximately $5.99 and the purchase at approximately $19.99. Prices can change by retailer, promotion, resolution and date.
Important: finding the film on Prime Video does not necessarily mean it is included with an Amazon Prime membership. The Prime Video Store offers separate rentals and purchases, and Amazon states that the film can be purchased without a Prime membership.

Does streaming availability vary by country?
Yes. The December 4, 2025 date was confirmed for the U.S. and Canada, not universally for every territory. In certain markets, SkyShowtime announced availability from December 17, 2025.
A Paramount+ subscriber in the United Kingdom, Australia or another market may therefore see a different catalog. Your account’s country and billing region matter.

Renting is usually the simplest choice if you only want to watch once. Paramount+ may be better value if you plan to watch other films and shows on the service. Buying digitally can suit repeat viewers, but it is not identical to owning a physical disc: access remains connected to the retailer account, platform and licensing terms.

Paramount’s official movie page lists a runtime of 169 minutes—about 2 hours and 50 minutes. Some retailer pages round this to 170 minutes or 2 hours 50 minutes.
It is rated PG-13. 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, subtitle and language support vary by platform, device and version. If you are choosing a digital purchase, check the retailer’s listing for the exact format before paying.
Do you need to watch the previous film?
The Final Reckoning is the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning and the eighth entry in the franchise.
