Babygirl is no longer waiting for its subscription-streaming debut in the United States. Nicole Kidman’s erotic thriller began streaming exclusively on Max on Friday, April 25, 2025. The service has since returned to the HBO Max name.
For viewers deciding how to watch it now, HBO Max is the subscription option. The film is also available to rent or buy digitally, while A24’s physical release arrived earlier in 2025.

The most common source of confusion is Amazon Prime Video. Babygirl can appear in Prime Video search results, but Amazon’s listing identifies it as a paid rental or purchase. A Prime subscription by itself does not necessarily provide access.
What is Babygirl about?
Kidman plays Romy, a powerful chief executive whose carefully managed professional and personal life is disrupted when she begins an affair with Samuel, her much younger intern, played by Harris Dickinson. Antonio Banderas and Sophie Wilde also star.

Written and directed by Halina Reijn, the A24 production is an erotic thriller rather than a documentary. It is rated R for strong sexual content, nudity and language, making it a film for adult viewers.
