How to watch it on HBO Max
- Open the HBO Max app or visit the HBO Max website.
- Select the search icon.
- Enter Weapons.
- Choose the 2025 film starring Josh Brolin and Julia Garner. Checking the year and cast helps avoid selecting a different title.
- Select Play.
If the film does not appear, confirm that you are using the correct profile, that your subscription includes the necessary catalog, and that the service is available in your location. HBO Max’s library can also change when licensing periods end.
Can you rent or buy Weapons digitally?
Yes. The film became available for digital home viewing on September 9, 2025, ahead of its subscription-streaming release. Current U.S. listings include rental and purchase options through services such as Amazon Video, the Apple TV Store, and Fandango at Home.
Digital stores generally let you pay for an individual rental or purchase rather than maintain a monthly HBO Max subscription. Prices and rental windows can differ between services, so check the listing shown on your preferred storefront before paying.

Why some pages still say the date was unconfirmed
Older articles published before October 24, 2025 may say that Weapons had no confirmed streaming date. Those reports are now outdated. Warner Bros. Discovery officially announced the HBO Max date on October 17, 2025, and the film arrived on the service one week later.
The most useful check is the current listing inside your streaming app or local digital store. Availability can change after a title’s initial streaming window, particularly when a film is carried under a licensing agreement.
