Why some pages still say “mid-to-late June”
Before Warner Bros. Discovery announced the official date, several streaming guides predicted that the movie would reach Max sometime in the middle or latter part of June. Those articles were estimates, not a confirmed release schedule. The confirmed U.S. date was June 20, 2025, and pages that still describe the release as an upcoming mid-to-late-June event are out of date.

Is A Minecraft Movie on Netflix?
That depends on the country. Streaming licenses are regional, so Netflix availability in one market does not establish availability everywhere. A report from Spain confirmed a Netflix listing there, while the latest U.S. availability information lists HBO Max as the subscription-streaming home.
For viewers outside the United States, search the film directly in the Netflix, Max, or HBO Max app available in your country, and check local digital stores. The service, price, and release window can differ substantially between regions.

How to find it quickly
- Open HBO Max in the United States, or the main streaming app available in your region.
- Search for A Minecraft Movie, rather than only searching for “Minecraft.”
- Check that the result is the 2025 feature film, not a Minecraft series, documentary, trailer, or bonus feature.
- If it is not included with your subscription, compare the rental and purchase listings on Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, or Fandango at Home.
- Confirm the total price and playback format before renting or buying; storefront availability can change without notice.
