Editorial note: This is a U.S. snapshot of movies added to, or recommended for, Freevee in November 2024. Freevee’s catalog was ad-supported and changed with licensing agreements. Amazon later retired the Freevee brand and moved its free catalog into Prime Video, where non-Prime viewers can still find eligible titles under Watch for free.
For documentary fans looking for something different between nonfiction releases, this lineup offered a useful mix of science fiction, animation, action, teen comedy, family movies, and relationship-driven comedies. The strongest choices were The LEGO Movie, The Edge of Seventeen, Atomic Blonde, and Passengers.

1. The LEGO Movie (2014)
Best overall animation. The film turns a child’s construction toy into a fast, self-aware adventure about conformity, creativity, and the pressure to follow instructions. Its visual invention gives it more to offer than a standard tie-in movie, while the jokes work for children and adults watching with them.

2. The Edge of Seventeen (2016)
Best teen comedy. This sharp coming-of-age story follows a teenager whose resentment, insecurity, and social disasters become harder to hide when her best friend starts dating her older brother. It is funny without treating adolescence as trivial, and its more uncomfortable moments give the comedy some emotional weight.
3. Atomic Blonde (2017)
Best action pick. Charlize Theron leads this cold-war spy thriller, built around shifting loyalties, brutal close-quarters fights, and a striking late-1980s atmosphere. It was a carryover recommendation from September 2024 coverage rather than a confirmed November 1 addition, but it was one of the strongest action choices associated with Freevee during this period.
4. Passengers (2016)
Best high-concept drama. A passenger on a centuries-long space voyage wakes from suspended animation decades too early, creating a story about isolation, secrecy, and the ethics of choosing another person’s fate. Its production design and central premise make it a natural choice for viewers who want science fiction with a relationship drama at its center.
5. She’s the Man (2006)
Best live-action comedy. This loose modern adaptation of Twelfth Night follows a soccer player who disguises herself as her brother to join a boys’ team. Amanda Bynes carries the broad mistaken-identity humor, while the sports setup gives the familiar romantic-comedy formula extra momentum.

6. Puss in Boots (2011)
Best family adventure. The Shrek spinoff gives its swashbuckling cat a story of old friendships, betrayal, and a dangerous quest. It is an easy family selection: colorful, brisk, and accessible even for viewers who do not remember every detail of the earlier franchise films.
7. Christmas with the Kranks (2004)
Best holiday comedy. A couple decides to skip Christmas after their daughter leaves town, only to face the outrage of their intensely festive neighborhood when she unexpectedly returns. The movie is broad and chaotic by design, making it a suitable November choice for viewers looking for seasonal comfort rather than a subtle holiday drama.
8. Think Like a Man (2012) and 9. Think Like a Man Too (2014)
Best adult-comedy double feature. The first film follows several couples and friends attempting to use relationship advice from a popular book to gain leverage in their romantic lives. The sequel moves the ensemble to Las Vegas for a wedding and leans further into group comedy and escalating mishaps. Watching them together makes more sense than treating the sequel as a standalone pick, since the second movie assumes familiarity with the characters and their relationships.
10. Copshop (2021)
A small-town police station becomes the setting for a tense standoff between a con artist, a professional assassin, and the officers caught between them. Copshop is a good choice when you want a contained thriller rather than a large-scale action movie. Its confined setting lets suspicion and negotiation do much of the work.

11. Rampage (2018)
This video-game adaptation is built around giant animals, genetic experiments, and the destruction of major American cities. Dwayne Johnson plays a primatologist trying to save an unusually intelligent gorilla after an experiment transforms it into a massive creature. It is best approached as uncomplicated creature-feature spectacle.
12. House at the End of the Street (2012)
A teenager moves with her mother into a new home and discovers that the neighborhood’s notorious murder case may not be as settled as it first appeared. The film mixes domestic suspense with horror elements and is a reasonable pick for a shorter, plot-driven thriller night.
13. Earth to Echo (2014)
Three friends discover a mysterious extraterrestrial presence while their neighborhood is being disrupted by construction. Told partly through found-footage recordings, the film draws on the child-centered adventure tradition of E.T. and Super 8. It is aimed at younger audiences but works best when treated as a friendship story first and a science-fiction mystery second.
14. A Perfect Day (2006)
This drama centers on a man whose carefully ordered life is interrupted by a crisis that forces him to reconsider his priorities. It is the quieter selection in the November 1 group, better suited to viewers who want a conventional character drama instead of spectacle, horror, or broad comedy.

15. Moonbound (2021)
Added November 7. This animated fantasy sends a young boy on a lunar adventure after his younger sister is taken by a supernatural force. Its imaginative setting and family-focused quest make it a natural follow-up to Puss in Boots or The LEGO Movie, especially for younger viewers.
16. UglyDolls (2019)
Added November 13. The inhabitants of Uglyville confront a world built around the idea that toys must be perfect before they can be loved. The message about difference and self-acceptance is direct, with the film’s music and bright character designs aimed primarily at children and families.
17. The Secret: Dare to Dream (2020)
Added November 28. This inspirational drama follows a widow whose outlook changes after she meets a mysterious man who introduces her to a philosophy centered on hope and positive thinking. It is the most overtly feel-good title in the group and fits viewers looking for a low-intensity drama with romantic and motivational elements.

Freevee is no longer the name to rely on when searching for the service. Amazon phased out the standalone Freevee branding and folded its free, ad-supported programming into Prime Video in early 2025. A Prime subscription is not required for the free tier, although viewers should expect advertising.
- Open Prime Video in a browser or supported app.
- Choose Movies.
- Look for the Free movies section, or search for a specific title.
- Select the result labeled Watch for free.
Do not assume that every title in the November 2024 list is still available. Streaming rights change by country, and individual movies can leave or return without matching the original Freevee schedule. If a title does not show the Watch for free label, it may require rental, purchase, another subscription, or may not be available in your location.
FAQ
Was Freevee still a separate streaming service in November 2024?
Yes, the November 2024 schedules still used the Freevee name and identified these movies as Freevee additions or recommendations. Amazon announced on November 12–13, 2024 that it would phase out the Freevee branding and move the free catalog into Prime Video.
Do I need Amazon Prime to watch Freevee movies?
No. Amazon’s free, ad-supported movies and shows are available to non-Prime viewers as well. The current Prime Video label to look for is “Watch for free,” and advertisements are part of the free viewing experience.
Are all 17 movies still free to watch?
Not necessarily. The list documents a U.S. November 2024 catalog snapshot. Availability changes with licensing windows, territory, and whether a title currently carries the “Watch for free” label.

That depends on the genre. The strongest editorial picks are The LEGO Movie for animation, The Edge of Seventeen for teen comedy, Atomic Blonde for action, Puss in Boots for family adventure, and Passengers for high-concept science fiction.
The Bottom Line
The November 2024 Freevee lineup was strongest when it came to accessible genre viewing: The LEGO Movie for families, The Edge of Seventeen for a sharper comedy-drama, Atomic Blonde for action, and Passengers for science fiction. Treat the dates as historical rather than current availability records. To check what can be watched without Prime today, use Prime Video and select movies marked Watch for free.
