What is The Chosen: Last Supper about?
Season 5 is branded The Chosen: Last Supper. Its story takes place around Passover and Jesus’ final meal. The official synopsis describes the people of Israel welcoming Jesus as king while the disciples anticipate his crowning. At the same time, religious and political leaders see his actions as a threat and work to ensure that the Passover meal will be his last.
The title refers to the season’s focus on the events leading toward the Last Supper. It does not mean that the season consists of a single special or movie; it contains eight television episodes.

How to watch The Chosen Season 5 for free
If you want to watch Season 5 without paying for Prime Video, the official free option is the Chosen app or the show’s official website. The official viewing instructions say to:
- Download the Chosen app or open the show’s website.
- Create or sign in to an account if prompted.
- Choose Season 5, also called The Chosen: Last Supper.
- Select the episode you want to watch.
The service describes the seasons and bonus material as free to watch. However, “free” does not necessarily mean anonymous or account-free: the official instructions say viewers should sign up for an account.
This is separate from an Amazon Prime free trial. A Prime trial may depend on your country, eligibility, account history, and Amazon’s current terms, so it should not be presented as the guaranteed free method for watching this season.

What about viewers outside the United States?
The June 15, 2025 date was the U.S. Prime Video premiere. It should not automatically be treated as the release date for every country. The official Prime Video announcement distinguished the U.S. launch from later international availability, so viewers elsewhere should check the Chosen service and local streaming listings for their market.
The free app and website may be the most useful places to check, but catalog access and platform availability can still depend on location. Do not assume that the U.S. episode schedule or Prime Video date applies unchanged worldwide.
