The current Peacock listing indicates that viewers need a Peacock Premium or Premium Plus plan; it should not be treated as a free-with-ads title unless Peacock specifically shows a separate promotion. If you do not want another subscription, you can rent or buy the movie digitally through Amazon Video, the Apple TV Store, or Fandango At Home. You can also own it on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, or DVD.
Where to stream Wicked (2024)
The 2024 movie Wicked, starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, is available to stream in the U.S. on Peacock. Peacock’s official movie listing describes it as streaming exclusively on the service, and Peacock’s May 2026 viewing guide says that both Wicked and its sequel, Wicked: For Good, are available there.
According to the current U.S. listing, a Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium Plus subscription is required. Plan names, catalog availability, and promotional offers can change, so check the title’s page and the plan details before subscribing.
Best option for subscribers: stream Wicked on Peacock if you already have Peacock or want to watch the film as part of a subscription rather than paying a separate rental or purchase fee.

How to watch Wicked without a Peacock subscription
If you would rather make a one-time transaction, Wicked is also available to rent or buy digitally in the United States. The U.S. availability listing checked on July 28, 2026, names these storefronts:
- Amazon Video
- Apple TV Store
- Fandango At Home
The displayed examples included rentals at $3.99 when checked, but digital prices are not permanent. A rental may also have a limited viewing window after you start watching, so confirm the current price, rental period, video format, subtitles, audio tracks, and purchase terms on the retailer’s listing.
Universal’s original home-entertainment announcement also identified Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, and Microsoft Movies & TV as participating digital retailers. Retailer availability can vary by device, account region, and storefront, so the broader announcement should not be read as a guarantee that every listed store has the same edition today.

Universal’s home-release announcement mentioned extras including a sing-along version, deleted and extended scenes, and a behind-the-scenes featurette. What is the difference between Wicked and Wicked: For Good?
Wicked (2024) is the first film in the two-part movie adaptation. Wicked: For Good is the sequel, not an alternate title for the first movie.
For clarity:
| Title | What it is | U.S. home-viewing information |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked (2024) | The first film, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande | Streaming on Peacock; also available for digital rental or purchase and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD |
| Wicked: For Good | The sequel | Peacock’s May 2026 guide lists it alongside the first film; its official Peacock premiere was March 20, 2026, and its 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release was January 20, 2026 |
When searching, include “2024” if you want the first movie. That helps avoid selecting Wicked: For Good, the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, the stage production, or another title named Wicked.

Availability and price notes
The availability information above is specifically for the United States. Streaming rights, subscription requirements, rental prices, language tracks, subtitles, video quality, bonus features, and retailer catalogs can differ in other countries. International viewers should search their local Peacock service or digital storefront rather than assuming the U.S. result applies.
The digital outlets and prices described here are time-sensitive. The U.S. listing used for this guide was checked on July 28, 2026, while the physical-media dates are historical release dates. A title can leave a streaming catalog, move between subscription tiers, or have its rental and purchase prices changed after publication.
