What Sunday Ticket does—and does not—include
Sunday Ticket is often misunderstood. It primarily covers out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. It is not a pass for every NFL broadcast.

This approach requires more switching, but it avoids paying for dozens of out-of-market games you will never watch. Since local availability and flexed-game assignments can change, check your actual market rather than assuming a service carries every game listed in a national schedule.

- FOX games: FOX One, an antenna or a live-TV service carrying local FOX.

- ESPN and ABC games: ESPN or a participating TV provider.

Sunday Ticket becomes more valuable when your team’s Sunday afternoon games are regularly unavailable in your local market. It is less valuable when most of the team’s games are already shown locally or nationally.

Best choice for RedZone and replays: NFL+ Premium
NFL+ Premium is aimed at viewers who want RedZone, replays and analysis rather than a complete live-TV replacement. The listed price is $14.99 per month or $99.99 per season.

The important restriction is device-related: NFL+ live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games are limited to phones and tablets. NFL+ is therefore not the straightforward answer for someone who wants to watch live games on a television.

Peacock for Sunday Night Football
Peacock carries NBC’s Sunday night games, including games that may be assigned exclusively to Peacock. If you already have NBC through a live-TV provider, check the specific game rather than assuming Peacock is required every week.
ESPN for Monday Night Football
ESPN is the main destination for Monday Night Football, with some games also available through ABC or participating TV providers. NFL+ does not provide full-game television streaming as a substitute for ESPN.
Netflix for selected 2026 games
Netflix is not an all-season NFL service, but it carries selected 2026 games, including the Australia game, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas and a Week 18 game. It is worth checking the NFL and Netflix schedules if you already subscribe, but it should not be purchased as a replacement for Sunday Ticket.

- Choose the live game, or select Notify me for a scheduled game.
If the game is missing or YouTube displays Get NFL Sunday Ticket, first confirm that you are signed in with the Google account used to purchase the subscription. Also check whether the game is local, nationally exclusive or outside Sunday Ticket’s coverage.

Common subscription mistakes
- Buying Sunday Ticket for local games: Sunday Ticket is principally for out-of-market Sunday afternoon games.
- Assuming it includes Thursday, Sunday night and Monday night football: Those broadcasts may require Prime Video, Peacock or ESPN.
- Confusing NFL+ with Sunday Ticket: NFL+ is a separate service and does not provide Sunday Ticket’s out-of-market package.
- Canceling YouTube TV after buying the bundle: YouTube TV is required for Sunday Ticket purchased as a YouTube TV add-on. Canceling it removes access to that subscription.

- Overlooking refund rules: Season Pass purchases are generally nonrefundable and noncancelable for the purchased season. Month-to-month plans can be canceled for future billing periods when that option is offered.
- Relying on the free NFL Channel for live games: It provides programming, replays, scores, highlights and game-day coverage, but not live NFL games themselves.
