It paired SHOWTIME favorites such as Dexter, Dexter: New Blood, and Yellowjackets with new films (The Girl in the Pool on October 1, Ezra and Treasure on October 28), original series and season premieres (SpongeBob SquarePants: Kreepaway Kamp on October 10, Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5 on October 24, Lioness season 2 on October 27), a run of CBS series premieres and returns, a Halloween horror collection, and live sports.
This article is a record of that schedule as it was published. It is not a guide to what is streaming on Paramount+ today, because library dates change and the plan terms described below may have changed since 2024.

Two entries do not fit the table’s date logic. Dexter, Dexter: New Blood, and Yellowjackets were featured as SHOWTIME favorites without a single arrival date, and the Peak Screaming horror collection was a curated grouping of existing titles. They are covered in their own sections below.

SHOWTIME favorites
The schedule’s headline catalog picks were three SHOWTIME series. At publication, Paramount+ said all eight seasons of Dexter were streaming, and that all episodes of Dexter: New Blood were streaming. It also said that as of publication there were two seasons of Yellowjackets.
Access depends on plan. Paramount+ stated that SHOWTIME original series were available with the Paramount+ Premium plan, so a subscriber on a lower tier should not assume the same titles were included. Those are statements from October 2024; check the current Paramount+ listing for what your plan includes now.

New films and originals
October’s new films were The Girl in the Pool on October 1, which the schedule describes as a thriller starring Freddie Prinze Jr.; Ezra on October 28, a dramedy starring Bobby Cannavale and Robert De Niro; and Treasure on October 28, a drama starring Lena Dunham and Stephen Fry.
The original slate was built around animation and genre television. SpongeBob SquarePants: Kreepaway Kamp arrived October 10. Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5 followed on October 24, Transformers: EarthSpark season 3 on October 25, and Lioness season 2 on October 27. Uncharted, listed for October 22, was the month’s only other film in the schedule.

CBS series returns and premieres
The largest group of dated entries was CBS series, which ran through the middle of the month. Paramount+ said Premium subscribers could livestream CBS titles on the live feed, and that those titles became available on demand to all subscribers the next day. In practice, a viewer on any plan could watch a CBS episode the day after it aired, while live viewing was a Premium feature.
- Procedurals: Tracker season 2 (October 13); NCIS season 22 and NCIS: Origins (October 14); three FBI franchise seasons (October 15); Blue Bloods, Fire Country, and S.W.A.T. (October 18); The Equalizer season 5 (October 20).
- Comedies and others: Elsbeth season 2, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, and Ghosts season 4 (October 17); Poppa’s House and The Neighborhood (October 21).
The schedule also listed Ink Master season 16 on October 23, which is a reality competition rather than a CBS title.

The Peak Screaming Halloween collection
For Halloween, Paramount+ grouped horror and thriller titles into a collection it called Peak Screaming. The featured titles were A Quiet Place: Day One, A Quiet Place, A Quiet Place Part II, Scream VI, and Apartment 7A. The collection was promoted as a curated set, not as October arrivals, so these are not dated additions in the table above.
Paramount+ described the collection’s overall size as “450+ new entertainment options.” That figure describes the collection as it stood on the October 3, 2024 page. It does not mean 450 titles were added in October.

Sports
The schedule included a steady run of live sports. The NFL on CBS was scheduled on two dates in the table, October 6 and October 27, each as a doubleheader. Other competitions named across the month were UEFA and Europa League matches, Big Ten football, Serie A, NWSL, and rodeo. The schedule did not attach a single date to every sporting event, so check a live listing for kickoff times and broadcast details.
Reading the schedule in 2026
A schedule published in 2024 is a snapshot of announced additions, not a current catalog. Paramount+ stated that dates for library titles are subject to change, which means titles listed for October 2024 may have left the service, and titles not listed may now be available. The plan requirements, the CBS live-feed terms, and the catalog counts all reflect the 2024 publication date.
To check a title today, search for it in the Paramount+ app or website, and confirm its plan requirement on its detail page before subscribing. For a title you saw on the October 2024 list, treat the listed date as historical unless the current page shows it as available.
