Whitney Leavitt’s comments about regret depend on which incident you mean. In a September 2024 interview, she said she did not regret missing Mayci Neeley’s business launch party. A later PEOPLE headline described her as having “plenty” of regrets about her reality-TV journey, while reporting that she “wouldn’t change a thing.” Those are different claims, and the available accounts do not identify the specific regrets behind the broader headline.
Did Whitney Leavitt regret missing Mayci Neeley’s launch party?
No. Asked directly about not attending Mayci Neeley’s business launch party, Leavitt told TV Insider on September 7, 2024: “I don’t think you can have any regrets because the decisions that were made are what you would have done regardless.” She added, “I don’t have regret.”
Leavitt acknowledged that the choice was hard, but said it was made for her safety and well-being. Her answer was about that particular decision; it should not be read as a claim that she had no regrets about any part of the show.
What does the broader “plenty of regrets” headline mean?
A PEOPLE cover-story headline syndicated by Yahoo News says Leavitt has “plenty” of regrets about her five-season reality-TV journey, while its summary says she “wouldn’t change a thing.” The accessible syndicated account does not establish which specific experiences she meant. It therefore does not support attributing the launch-party decision—or any other particular event—to those broader regrets.

How her comments changed as she left the series
On May 5, 2026, ABC News reported that Leavitt announced season five would be her last. In the departure video, she reflected: “I have experienced so much with this group of women, and in that process, I’ve also learned so much about myself.” She also said, “I wouldn’t change a thing.” These remarks describe her overall experience and decision to leave, rather than identifying a particular regret.
In a September 4, 2026, Good Morning America interview, Leavitt called the show a chapter that was time to end and said, “But this one I felt ended really well, and I think everyone felt that.” The report said she planned a limited Broadway engagement in Just in Time from December 1, 2026, through January 10, 2027.

A separate regret concerned a TikTok post, not the launch party
A September 8, 2024, Zack Peter interview video description says Leavitt regretted posting a TikTok video showing her baby in hospital with RSV because of the backlash. That is a separate personal social-media incident. It does not change what she said when asked about missing Mayci’s launch party, and it should not be folded into her later remarks about leaving the series.

Disney’s season-two press loglines describe an ensemble series centered on #MomTok, with Whitney’s storylines alongside those of other cast members. The program’s edited events provide context for the show, but Leavitt’s stated reasons and feelings are best represented by her own attributed comments—not inferred from an episode or storyline.
