How to read this May calendar
The slate was not limited to new scripted series or documentaries: it also included a large batch of older films, library titles, and unscripted programming across several networks. Warner Bros. Discovery described its monthly list as potentially incomplete and subject to change: “This list may not be comprehensive and is subject to change.” The statement appeared in its April 21, 2025 announcement. Tom’s Guide likewise presented a dated calendar, rather than a guarantee of a complete catalog.
May 2025 dates do not show what is available now. HBO Max says some movies and shows are available for a limited time and directs viewers to its new/coming-soon and “Last Chance” rows; check the service for your territory before planning a watch. See HBO Max’s help page on finding what to watch.
