Four Corners: Retribution: reporting on U.S. politics
ABC iview lists two installments in the 2024 season. Part 1, “The Battle For Democracy,” examines Donald Trump’s first presidency and his plan for a second term through interviews with White House insiders. Lady in the Lake: a scripted Baltimore mystery
Apple TV dates the series to July 19, 2024. Set in Baltimore in 1966, it follows Maddie Schwartz, played by Natalie Portman, as she pursues a career in investigative journalism, and Cleo Johnson, played by Moses Ingram, whose life intersects with Maddie’s investigation into Cleo’s death. Omnivore: food as a lens on culture
This documentary series, also dated July 19, 2024 by Apple TV, is narrated by chef René Redzepi. It explores ingredients and how they shape societies and culture, with examples including salt in Peru, coffee in Rwanda and tuna off Spain. Read Apple TV’s series information.

Those About to Die: Roman spectacle and power
