MLB’s official game listing identified the event as an 8 p.m. EDT start. That is the scheduled game time—not necessarily the precise moment of the first pitch, since introductions, ceremonies, the anthem and broadcast presentation can take place beforehand. MLB’s original game-time announcement and official Gameday page provide the contemporaneous listings.
What time was the game in my time zone?
The scheduled 8 p.m. Eastern start converted to the following U.S. times:

How the 2025 All-Star Game was broadcast in the U.S.
Local FOX station
The main English-language U.S. broadcast was on FOX. In most markets, that means the viewer’s local FOX affiliate, not a single nationwide channel number. Channel numbers vary by cable, satellite and live-TV streaming provider.
At the time of the live event, viewers could check their local listings for FOX and watch through:
- A cable or satellite package that carried the local FOX station.
- A live-TV streaming service that carried FOX in the viewer’s ZIP code.
- An over-the-air antenna, where the local FOX affiliate could be received.
FOX Sports app and FOXSports.com
FOX also directed viewers to the FOX Sports app and FOXSports.com. The app was free to download, but free installation did not mean that the live game stream was universally free. FOX’s provider information page explains that live access generally requires authentication through a participating pay-TV provider.
The usual sign-in process was:
- Open the FOX Sports app or FOXSports.com.
- Select the live MLB or FOX broadcast.
- Choose TV Provider, or the equivalent provider-login option.
- Select the cable, satellite or live-TV streaming provider.
- Enter the provider account credentials.
If the stream remained locked, the likely issue was not the app download. The provider account needed to include the local FOX network, and the local FOX feed needed to be available in the viewer’s market. Location recognition, provider authentication and regional carriage all could affect access.
Live-TV streaming services without traditional cable
Cord-cutters could use a live-TV streaming service carrying their local FOX affiliate. Services mentioned in contemporaneous viewing guides included Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Sling TV where local FOX was available, and YouTube TV.
These are examples rather than universal guarantees. Before starting a subscription or trial, viewers should:
- Enter their ZIP code to verify that the service carries FOX locally.
- Check whether FOX is included in the base package or requires a different plan.
- Review the current price, trial terms and cancellation deadline.
- Confirm that the service works on the intended television, phone, tablet or streaming device.
Prices quoted in 2025 articles are now historical and should not be treated as current prices. Local-channel lineups and service terms can change.
Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWatching with an antenna
An antenna was potentially the least expensive legal option because a viewer could receive the local FOX broadcast without a recurring TV subscription. It depended on the location, signal strength and whether a FOX affiliate served the market.
Viewers using an antenna could rescan for channels, check the local listings and look for the area’s FOX affiliate. If FOX did not appear, that did not necessarily mean the game was unavailable; the antenna might not have received the station, or the market might not have had a local FOX affiliate.
Spanish-language viewing
The U.S. Spanish-language television broadcast was on FOX Deportes, not automatically on the standard FOX affiliate. A viewer needed a TV package or streaming service that included FOX Deportes. Having access to the local English-language FOX channel did not necessarily provide the Spanish feed.
MLB also identified Univision as the Spanish-language radio option. The official broadcast announcement covering the game’s TV, radio and international distribution is available from MLB.

Was the game on ESPN or MLB Network?
No—the 2025 All-Star Game itself was on FOX in the United States. Confusion was understandable because ESPN carried the Home Run Derby the previous night, Monday, July 14, 2025. That was a separate event.
MLB Network carried extensive All-Star Week programming, but it was not the principal U.S. domestic channel for the game. Its game-day coverage included an All-Star Red Carpet Show at 2 p.m. Eastern and a national pregame show beginning at 6 p.m. Eastern. The MLB Network schedule announcement details that surrounding coverage.
| Event | Date and time | U.S. outlet |
|---|---|---|
| All-Star Red Carpet Show | Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 2 p.m. ET | MLB Network |
| MLB Network pregame coverage | Tuesday, July 15, 2025, beginning at 6 p.m. ET | MLB Network |
| Home Run Derby | Monday, July 14, 2025 | ESPN |
| All-Star Game | Tuesday, July 15, 2025, scheduled for 8 p.m. ET | FOX |
Where to watch outside the United States
FOX was the U.S. broadcaster. International viewers should not assume that a U.S. FOX stream will work in another country, because MLB’s broadcast rights vary by territory and may be subject to regional restrictions.
MLB said the game was distributed through partners in more than 200 countries. In Canada, the listed broadcasters included Rogers Sportsnet and TDA Sports. Viewers elsewhere should check MLB’s regional broadcaster information or the local sports provider carrying MLB in their country.
A VPN should not be treated as the default international solution. Using one to bypass geographic restrictions may conflict with a streaming service’s terms, and it does not guarantee that the stream is legally available or that the account will authenticate.

Could MLB.TV be used to watch it?
Do not assume that an MLB.TV subscription automatically included the 2025 U.S. FOX broadcast. MLB.TV access is subject to territory, broadcast-rights and blackout rules, while the authoritative 2025 U.S. listings directed viewers to FOX and FOX Sports.
For the original U.S. live broadcast, the reliable route was the local FOX station or an authenticated FOX Sports stream. For the current archived event, the better starting point is MLB’s official replay page rather than assuming that a general MLB.TV subscription provides the original television feed.

Listeners who could not watch had two identified radio options:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors- ESPN Radio: national English-language coverage.
- Univision: Spanish-language radio coverage.
Radio rights and video rights are separate. A listener did not necessarily need the same subscription used for the FOX video broadcast, and MLB.TV should not be presented as a requirement for the radio coverage.
How to watch the 2025 All-Star Game now
Since the event is over, use the official on-demand options rather than looking for a live FOX listing:
- MLB full-game replay — MLB’s official replay page, listed at approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- MLB official highlights — a shorter option for the principal moments.
- FOX’s 2025 All-Star clips — selected broadcast segments rather than a guaranteed full-game replay.
Replay pages can change over time. Availability may depend on location, platform login or MLB’s current video policies. If one clip is unavailable, the MLB full-game and highlights pages are the most appropriate official alternatives.
How the game ended
Spoiler: The National League beat the American League, 7–6. It was not a conventional extra-inning game. The teams were tied 6–6 after nine innings, then used MLB’s home-run swing-off tiebreaker.
Under the format, three hitters from each league received three swings apiece. The National League won that contest 4–3, producing the official 7–6 final score. It was the first use of this swing-off tiebreaker in an MLB All-Star Game—not the first Home Run Derby, and not a standard extra-inning finish. MLB’s tiebreaker explanation describes the format, while the official facts and figures record the 6–6 regulation score and 4–3 swing-off result.
MVP: Kyle Schwarber. MLB’s official MVP report and All-Star history page provide the final historical record.
Additional 2025 All-Star Game context
The game was the 95th Midsummer Classic and was played at Truist Park in Atlanta. MLB’s event announcement highlighted several features, including the ABS Challenge System, a tribute to Hank Aaron, two-way microphones and the return to regular-season uniforms.
FOX also announced a 4K HDR presentation through supported connected-TV and living-room apps. That did not mean every viewer automatically received a 4K feed: availability depended on the device, app, provider and market. The FOX Sports broadcast announcement contains the presentation details.
