Storage Wars continued with a new season in 2025, and several familiar buyers remain connected to the show or to the businesses that made them known. Here’s what is documented about selected current and former cast members, with updates dated so a roster or plan is not mistaken for a permanent status.
Is Storage Wars still on, and who has returned?
Yes. A+E Global Media announced a 10-episode season set to premiere June 7, 2025, naming Brandi Passante, Dave Hester, Kenny Crossley, Ivy Calvin, Rene and Casey Nezhoda, Lisa Delarios, and Dusty Riach as returning buyers, with Dan and Laura Dotson as auctioneers. The announcement described the show’s basic wager: “With only a few moments to glimpse inside, they must decide whether they’ve spotted trash or treasure that they can turn into big profits.” A+E Global Media’s season announcement
A broader cast snapshot published by TV Insider on June 18, 2026, described the series as being in its 17th season and included Emily Pokoj among the participants. These are dated snapshots, not a definitive list of everyone who has ever appeared or a guarantee of future participation.
What are the familiar buyers and auctioneers doing now?
Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz
TV Insider reported in June 2026 that Passante had appeared in every season and remained a main cast member. Schulz left after 13 seasons in 2021, following his breakup with Passante. The outlet also reported that Schulz was charged with misdemeanor domestic-violence battery in 2021 after an incident involving Passante; Schulz denied the claims. A&E did not comment on his exit, and the reporting does not establish that the charge caused his departure or that he was convicted. TV Insider’s June 2026 cast update

Dan and Laura Dotson
The Dotsons continue to work as auctioneers through American Auctioneers, according to their A&E biography. A&E says they conduct 1,500 auctions a year together and that the company’s profits are based on percentages of bids. The annual figure is A&E’s biographical claim, not an independently verified count. A&E’s Dan and Laura Dotson biography
Rene and Casey Nezhoda
The Nezhodas still run a thrift store in San Diego, according to TV Insider’s June 2026 roundup. Their A&E biography describes the shop as 7,000 square feet; the network spells its name “Bargainn Hunters Thrift Store,” while TV Insider refers to it as “Bargain Hunters Thrift.” TV Insider also reports that they launched the trading-card breaking company Bargain Hunter Breaks in 2020 and play poker. Dave Hester and other returning buyers
Hester was named among the returning buyers in A+E Global Media’s May 2025 season announcement. TV Insider’s June 2026 roundup says he returned for seasons 16 and 17 after a hiatus. The same 2025 announcement listed Kenny Crossley, Ivy Calvin, Lisa Delarios, and Dusty Riach alongside the Nezhodas and Passante; it establishes their place on that announced season’s roster, not their status in every later season.
Where are Barry Weiss and the Sheets family now?
Barry Weiss
TV Insider reported that Weiss suffered severe chest and leg injuries in a 2019 motorcycle accident, recovered, and returned to Storage Wars for two seasons in 2023 and 2024. Its June 2026 roundup says he later retreated from the spotlight and lived a quieter life. It does not establish a current project or more specific details about his life.

Darrell and Brandon Sheets
TV Insider reported that Darrell Sheets died in April 2026 and noted his prior health issues after a mild heart attack in 2019. In a report published June 11, 2026, TMZ said Darrell’s son Brandon planned to keep his father’s social accounts active and reopen the Arizona antique shop Havasu Show Me Your Junk. There was no reopening timetable in that report, so the shop’s return should be understood as a plan, not a completed reopening. TMZ also reported that an A&E tribute followed an April 25 broadcast. TV Insider says Brandon was a main buyer in seasons 1–9, is married to Melissa, and has two children.

What about Emily Pokoj and Emily Wears?
TV Insider’s June 2026 cast snapshot names Emily Pokoj among the show’s participants. It also reports that former auctioneer Emily Wears appeared for two seasons and, based on her Instagram bio, still works as an auctioneer while raising two daughters with her husband in Idaho. That personal and work update is attributed to the bio as described by TV Insider, rather than independently verified.

How to read these cast updates
- Roster announcements are time-specific. A&E’s May 2025 list covers the season it announced; TV Insider’s June 2026 snapshot reflects its later reporting.
- Plans are not completed events. Brandon Sheets’s family had discussed reopening the shop, but no timetable was reported as of June 11, 2026.
- Keep disputed or legal matters precise. Schulz’s departure, the reported charge, his denial, and A&E’s lack of comment are distinct facts; the available account does not prove a cause for the exit or establish a conviction.
