Summer Warne’s reported words about wishing she had been with her father, Shane Warne, in his final moments reflect grief and the time she wishes they had shared. In a 2025 TikTok remembrance post, she wrote that she hated not being with him and wanted to tell him about exciting things in her life. Her 2022 tribute had already expressed regret that she did not hug him tighter or hold his hand.

What Summer Warne shared in her 2025 tribute

PerthNow reported on 23 June 2025 that Summer took part in a TikTok trend remembering people who had died. The post marked three years since her father’s death and conveyed how much she missed being able to share everyday moments and important news with him. It also included an image of Summer at Shane’s headstone. PerthNow’s report described the post as expressing that she hated not being with him in his final moments and felt their time together had been robbed.

Now to Love described the post as a three-image carousel. Its account says the first slide used the framing “It’s okay I’ll just call my dad,” followed by text written in Shane’s imagined voice: “She hates that she wasn’t with me in my final moments.” The carousel also included the line “She feels like our time together was robbed,” and referred to seeing a G-Wagon and wishing she could share exciting news with him. The third image reportedly showed Summer visiting his grave with the family dog. These are details reported about the TikTok post, not statements from a direct interview. Now to Love’s account reproduces the carousel’s wording.

How her 2025 post echoes her 2022 tribute

Summer had spoken publicly about her regret shortly after her father died. ABC News reported on 7 March 2022 that the Warne family released tributes following his death. Summer wrote: “I wish I could’ve hugged you tighter in what I didn’t know were my final moments with you. And your final breaths were only moments away.” She also said: “I wish I could’ve told you that everything was going to be okay and hold your hand.” ABC News reproduced her tribute.

The 2025 post returned to the same sense of lost time, but through smaller things she wished she could still tell her father. The wording about seeing a G-Wagon and wanting to share good news gives the remembrance an everyday dimension: the absence is felt not only on anniversaries, but in moments when she would once have called him.

What is known about Shane Warne’s final moments

Shane Warne died in Thailand in March 2022, aged 52, according to ABC News. The same report quoted Thai deputy national police spokesman Kissana Phathanacharoen saying that the autopsy’s medical opinion was that the cause of death was natural. PerthNow also reported that a postmortem ruled out foul play and determined natural causes.

Summer’s public tributes explain her feelings about not being with her father at the end. The reporting does not establish further private details about where she was, what contact they had, or the precise circumstances of her absence during his final moments; her words should not be treated as evidence of those details.
