Sky Daily posted an Instagram tribute on July 25, 2025, one day after her husband, Hulk Hogan, died. In excerpts reported by the Associated Press and ABC News, she described the loss as sudden and impossible to process, and distinguished the man she knew as “my Terry” from the public legend.
What Sky Daily said in her tribute
The Associated Press reproduced this line from Daily’s Instagram post: “This loss is sudden and impossible to process.” AP also quoted her personal contrast between Hogan’s public image and their private life: “To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry.” The ellipsis reflects AP’s published rendering.

ABC News reported that Daily also recalled Hogan’s affection for his fans. According to the outlet, she said he made an effort to connect with them even when he was physically uncomfortable.
When she posted, and what happened before
- July 24, 2025: Hogan died at age 71. The Associated Press reported that medics responded to a cardiac-arrest call at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
- July 25, 2025: Daily posted her tribute on Instagram, according to ABC News.
- July 31, 2025: AP reported that a Florida medical examiner identified a heart attack as the cause of Hogan’s death and published excerpts from Daily’s post.
What the tribute does—and does not—establish
Daily’s reported words offer her personal response to the death and a glimpse of how she viewed Hogan beyond his fame. Her mention of his health and physical discomfort is not the medical examiner’s finding about the cause of death; AP separately attributed the heart-attack determination to the Florida medical examiner.
