Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow were musical collaborators: they recorded the duets “Picture” and “Collide,” and discussed touring together. The sources available do not establish that they dated, broke up, or had a feud. That is a limit of the documented evidence—not proof of every detail of their private lives.

“Any day, any hour of the day or night, if [Rock] calls me I’m totally there. I’m such a huge fan of his, and I love the guy. He’s a great songwriter, and I feel like our collaboration together is always easy, and it just…works.”
The quotation is warm, but the report frames it around their collaboration and tour. It does not say they were a couple or confirm a romantic relationship. CBS News reported the tour plans and quotation on April 1, 2011.

Is there evidence they dated, broke up, or had a feud?
The cited coverage and artist materials establish music and professional plans, not a romance, breakup, or falling-out between Crow and Rock. A report about Crow’s other relationships or Rock’s separate relationships does not establish a relationship between the two. Their songs and Crow’s praise are not evidence that they dated.
The distinction matters because the available reporting does not provide a direct statement from either artist confirming or denying that they were romantically involved. In particular, Crow’s 2011 comments should not be recast as a denial: she was talking about Rock as a songwriter and collaborator. The responsible conclusion is that the sources reviewed do not substantiate the dating or breakup claims—not that every private event can be ruled out.
