The available accounts establish the fight’s importance to Natalie’s decision, but not every detail of what was said privately. It is more accurate to describe the incident through those reports than to add unverified specifics.
Did they get back together after the wedding?
Yes, briefly. At the reunion, Natalie said they had gotten back together after the wedding, but she could not get past the fight. She said it had “changed everything.”

Shayne apologized for getting defensive and muddling the truth about his interest in Shaina in the pods, and expressed remorse about the argument. Natalie accepted his apology. What did Natalie say about the breakup at the time?
In a March 2022 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Natalie said she still loved Shayne, but that the door was closed for her. She said watching the wedding episode brought back memories, while also saying she had closure and had moved on from the relationship and the experience. Those were her words at the time, not a statement about her private feelings today.

What was the dispute about Shayne’s messages with Shaina?
In September 2022, Netflix summarized Natalie’s allegation that Shayne and Shaina Hurley had exchanged flirtatious Instagram messages. Natalie also suspected Shaina had a secret relationship with Shayne. Both Shayne and Shaina disputed that characterization: Shayne described the messages as funny replies to Instagram stories, and Shaina said they were friends who had not hung out alone. Shayne said, “There was nothing inappropriate about our messages whatsoever.”
These are competing accounts, not a settled finding about the messages or proof of an affair. Netflix’s September 2022 report recounts the allegation and the denials; it does not independently establish the intent behind the exchanges.

Are Shayne and Natalie still together?
No. Netflix’s 2026 update says they did not marry and are not together. It also reports that Shayne later appeared on Perfect Match and that Natalie later briefly dated Blake Moynes. That is the status in the cited update, not a guarantee that circumstances could not change later.
