Jessica Alba called one scene in 2005’s Fantastic Four her least favorite, saying she found it “very humiliating in real life” and dreaded filming it for weeks. Her comments, made at the Red Sea Film Festival on December 5, 2025, concerned a single bridge scene involving Sue Storm—not multiple scenes.
What did Jessica Alba say about the scene?
At a career-spanning conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on December 5, 2025, Alba recalled the bridge sequence as her “least favorite scene.” Us Weekly quoted her saying: “I thought that was awful. It was very humiliating in real life. I grew up with a pretty conservative family, and I am a pretty modest person. I dreaded that scene for weeks. I have a lot of whiplash from those days.”
E! News’s verified-channel video description also carried Alba’s shorter recollection: “I thought that was awful. It was very humiliating in real life.” These quotations are reported by the outlets; the festival conversation’s original recording or official transcript was not available for direct verification.
Which Fantastic Four scene was she describing?
Alba was referring to one scene in the 2005 film, in which she played Sue Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman. Fox News describes the story setup as Sue trying to pass a police barrier using her invisibility, then reappearing while undressing. The scene’s fictional premise is distinct from Alba’s account of how filming it felt to her in real life.

What did Alba think of Sue Storm?
Her discomfort with that particular scene did not mean she rejected the character. Us Weekly also quoted Alba praising Sue as “very maternal and very kind, but also not a pushover; she spoke her mind.” Alba added: “She had a great moral compass. No matter who you are, you can look up to her.”
What her comments do—and don’t—establish
Alba described her personal reaction, citing her modesty and conservative family background and recalling that she dreaded the scene. The reports do not establish who made the creative decision, what safeguards were used, whether a body double was involved, or what her contract specified. Her remarks therefore should not be treated as evidence for claims about production practices or coercion.
