“LIPAD” is a documentary by The Turret, the official student publication of Davao de Oro State College (DdOSC)–New Bataan Branch. It follows Leah, a community worker from Barangay San Roque, New Bataan, and connects livelihood with personal recovery, community participation and renewed purpose.
What ‘LIPAD’ is about
The documentary centers on Leah’s experience rather than presenting livelihood only through figures or programs. SunStar Davao describes the story as exploring how livelihood opportunities relate to personal recovery, involvement in community life and a renewed sense of purpose. The report characterizes the film’s storytelling as restrained; it does not provide a review or direct quotations from Leah.
