RoboBurger is still being developed, but it has not been shown to have a broad commercial rollout. After the machine appeared on Shark Tank, the business moved into a new joint venture: RoboBurger Inc. was formed with Sweet Robo in 2025 to commercialize a next-generation system. The company describes itself as pre-revenue and says it plans to launch its first commercial units in 2026. The available filings and company materials do not verify current operating locations or confirm that the televised Shark Tank investment closed.

What happened to RoboBurger after Shark Tank?

The story after the episode is a shift from the original RoboBurger business to a new company formed to take the platform toward commercialization. RoboBurger Inc. was incorporated in Delaware on June 25, 2025. Its offering memorandum says it is a 50/50 joint venture between RoboBurger Enterprises, Inc. and Sweet Robo LLC, created to commercialize and scale a next-generation RoboBurger system. The memorandum describes RoboBurger Enterprises as the predecessor that developed prototypes, secured initial intellectual property, conducted pilots and appeared on the show. The SEC offering memorandum therefore points to a changed corporate structure, rather than simply an unchanged company continuing under a new name.

RoboBurger’s investor site calls the venture a pre-revenue, early-stage food-robotics company and says its first commercial units are launching in 2026. The official company website markets the product as an autonomous machine that grills and serves burgers on demand. These are company descriptions and plans; the materials do not establish how many machines are operating, where they are located, or whether the planned launch milestones have been completed.

Did the Shark Tank deal close?

That has not been confirmed by the sources available here. RoboBurger’s founders reportedly asked for $1.5 million for 5% equity and accepted an on-air offer of $1.5 million for 9% from Kevin O’Leary and guest Shark Michael Rubin. The Shark Tank Blog recap said it had no hard evidence the deal had closed in its July 2024 update. The offer should therefore be described as an agreement made on the show, not as a completed investment.

That result documents the offering covered by the filing; it does not establish that O’Leary and Rubin’s televised offer closed.
