What is Parker doing now?
His current public storyline remains mining. Season 17 follows his contest with Beets, while a September 30, 2026 TV Insider report says Parker is aiming to beat Beets after failing to bring in more ounces than him the previous year. The report also describes Parker’s focus on giving his team more autonomy, delegating responsibilities, and relying on core managers as the operation grows. These are reported aspects of his approach, not a full account of what he does outside filming.
How large is his mining operation?
A November 4, 2025 TV Insider report, covering season 16, described a planned expansion at Dominion Creek, a fleet of more than 60 machines, four wash plants, and expenses topping $100,000. Those details belong to that season-era coverage; they should not be read as a current equipment count or audited financial statement. The available sources do not establish the business’s audited value or Parker’s personal income.

Does the season’s gold figure mean Parker earned that money?
No. Warner Bros. Discovery’s September 3, 2026 press release used the promotional claim, “With the price of gold reaching a staggering $5,000 an ounce, more than $130 million worth of gold is up for grabs.” That describes the season’s advertised stakes, not Schnabel’s verified production, earnings, net worth, or take-home profit. A season-level prize framing cannot be treated as an individual miner’s income.

The current sources support an update on his continuing role in Gold Rush and mining work, but they do not provide a definitive account of his private life between filming seasons. They also do not substantiate a current net worth, personal income, final season-17 production total, or audited business valuation. Claims about those subjects need separate, reliable evidence.
