Which Pokémon cards were shoppers seeking?
The product at the center of the incident was the Pokémon 151 Blooming Waters Premium Collection. PokéBeach reported on January 16, 2025, that the collection was scheduled for release on February 7 but had begun appearing at Costco stores about two weeks earlier. Costco later used the same product name and identified it as item #1916742 on its US customer-service page listing items excluded from Costco.com self-service returns. That page confirms the name and item number, not current stock or warehouse return rules. PokéBeach Costco
What did the collection cost at the time?
PokéBeach’s January 16, 2025 report put the collection’s retail price at $59.99 and said it was then listed on the secondary market for $120–$150. Those are observations from the incident period, not a current price check, a typical market value, or evidence of guaranteed resale profit. PokéBeach

Does that mean the collection is available now?
No current availability for this specific collection is established by the cited sources. In a May 26, 2026 notice, Pokémon Support said high demand was making it difficult for some fans to buy certain Pokémon TCG products. The company said it was working to print impacted products quickly, expected reprints to reach participating retailers as soon as possible, and was increasing production for future expansions. The notice discusses Pokémon TCG products generally; it does not confirm a Blooming Waters reprint or current stock. Pokémon Support
