Why did Dylan Dreyer and Brian Fichera separate?
Dreyer has not publicly specified why the marriage ended. She described the reason as private and said only that they had reached a point where something in the marriage could not be fixed. The interview coverage does not support claims about a particular marital problem.
The couple publicly announced their separation in July 2025. The Independent reported that they had already been separated for a few months at that point. How has Dreyer described their relationship now?

She spoke about giving each other more grace, presenting their changed relationship as an effort to treat one another with understanding rather than as a public account of blame. Dreyer has said their children remain surrounded by love. Later coverage, citing an interview with Parents, described her co-parenting approach as centered on joy and mutual respect. TMZ reported on March 17, 2026, that Dreyer filed for divorce. That report establishes a reported filing, not a final court judgment; the sources cited here do not establish that the divorce was finalized. TMZ’s report on the filing.
