In February 2025, Full House co-star Candace Cameron Bure said Dave Coulier was “doing okay” as he continued his cancer treatment. She described an interim personal update—not a medical assessment or confirmation that he was in remission.

What did Candace Cameron Bure say about Dave Coulier?

Bure told People that she spoke with Coulier often and that he was “still on his journey and doing okay.” She added that they would see how he felt as his chemotherapy rounds ended over the following months. TV Insider reported her comments after the pair attended the 32nd Annual Movieguide Awards.

Bure made the remarks on February 7, 2025; the interview was published February 8, and TV Insider recapped it on February 11. She was speaking as Coulier’s co-star and friend, not as a member of his medical team. “Doing okay” was her description of how he was managing at the time, not a clinical finding.

What diagnosis and treatment did the update refer to?

Coulier disclosed in fall 2024 that he had stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In February 2025, he was still receiving treatment, and Bure referred to the chemotherapy rounds he was completing. Her comment did not say that treatment had ended or that the lymphoma was in remission. The February 2025 report described the update in that treatment context.

How does the February 2025 update fit with later reports?

Later coverage reported a new cancer diagnosis in December 2025 and remission from tongue cancer in February 2026. KOLD’s archive also lists a May 2026 health update based on a video Coulier posted to Instagram. Those reports concern developments after Bure’s February 2025 remarks; they should not be read back into what she said then. The archive listing alone does not establish Coulier’s health status as of October 2026. KOLD’s archive lists the later reports.

The distinction matters: Bure’s update was about Coulier’s ongoing lymphoma treatment in February 2025. It was not a current status report, and it did not establish remission.
