Wednesday Season 2 is complete. Netflix released all eight episodes in two four-episode batches: Part 1 premiered on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 followed on September 3, 2025. As of August 11, 2026, the full season is streaming on Netflix.
Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams, joined by returning classmates and family members, new principal Barry Dort played by Steve Buscemi, and Lady Gaga in a guest role as Rosaline Rotwood. Here is the complete release, cast, trailer, episode, and spoiler guide.
Wednesday Season 2 release date and streaming status
Wednesday Season 2 premiered in two parts rather than as one complete release:
| Episodes | Release date | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Episodes 1–4 | August 6, 2025 | Streaming on Netflix |
| Episodes 5–8 | September 3, 2025 | Streaming on Netflix |
All eight episodes are now available on Netflix. The season is not an upcoming release, so older pages describing Part 2 as “coming soon” are out of date. The two dates remain useful if you are checking when each half of the season originally arrived.

Wednesday Season 2 spoilers: mysteries, LOIS, and Weems
Warning: this section discusses Season 2 plot details, including Part 1 and Part 2 developments.
The Part 1 mystery
The first half of the season centers on a hooded Avian linked to murderous crows and a series of deaths affecting outcasts. At the same time, Wednesday’s visions are weakening, making her investigation more difficult and less reliable than before.
The LOIS program
Netflix’s Part 2 episode guide identifies the LOIS program at Willow Hill Psychiatric Facility as an important part of the season’s later mystery. The final four episodes explore the fallout from the Part 1 cliffhanger and broaden the consequences of what Wednesday uncovers.
Larissa Weems’ changed role
Larissa Weems is not simply restored to her former position as Nevermore’s principal. Netflix describes her Season 2 presence as Wednesday’s new spirit guide in Part 2, changing how the character interacts with the story after her apparent Season 1 death.
Lady Gaga and “The Dead Dance”
Part 2 features Lady Gaga’s original song “The Dead Dance.” Netflix says the song was written specifically for the series and is used in a dance sequence involving Enid Sinclair and Agnes DeMille.
