New series regulars
Steve Buscemi — Principal Barry Dort
Buscemi plays Nevermore Academy’s ambitious new principal. Netflix characterizes Dort as the polar opposite of the late Larissa Weems: he advocates excluding normies as part of a mission to “save” Nevermore. Co-showrunner Miles Millar described him as “Mr. Nevermore” and said he is deliberately unlike Weems’s polished, chic presentation. See Netflix’s character description.
Billie Piper — Isadora Capri
Piper plays Nevermore’s new head of music. Capri is a werewolf and former child prodigy who takes a particular interest in Wednesday’s musical abilities.
