Logan Kim, who played Podcast in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, was reportedly cast as Marvel Comics character Amadeus Cho—but the reports do not establish that Marvel Studios confirmed the casting. A later report claimed a planned scene with Sam Wilson in Captain America: Brave New World was cut. Both claims remain unconfirmed.
What was reported about Logan Kim and the MCU?
A CBR report dated October 4, 2024, republished by IMDb News, said Kim had been cast as Amadeus Cho and attributed the claim to entertainment insider Daniel Richtman. The report identified Kim with his role as Podcast in the two recent Ghostbusters films. It was insider-based reporting, not an announcement from Marvel Studios: IMDb News’ syndicated CBR report.
That distinction matters. The headline claim that Kim “joins” the MCU states more than the available evidence supports. The careful version is that he was reportedly cast; an official Marvel confirmation is not established by the reports covered here.
Was Amadeus Cho in Captain America: Brave New World?
A later Mandatory report, published February 2, 2026, repeated an insider claim that Kim had a planned scene with Sam Wilson in Captain America: Brave New World, but that the scene was scrapped. This is a separate claim from the 2024 casting report, and it too is unconfirmed; it does not establish that the character appeared in the released film: Mandatory’s report on the alleged cut scene.

Who is Amadeus Cho in Marvel comics?
Amadeus Cho is a Marvel Comics character associated with Hulk stories, which explains why a report about his possible MCU casting describes him as an Incredible Hulk character. That comics history provides context for the rumor, not proof that Marvel adapted a particular storyline or put Cho on screen. Readers interested in the character can look for the Totally Awesome Hulk comic collection; check the edition and availability with the seller.
Do not confuse Cho with Lord Krylar. Krylar is a different Hulk-connected character: a 2023 ComicBook.com article discussed Bill Murray’s role as Krylar in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and his comics connection. Murray’s Marvel role is unrelated evidence and does not confirm anything about Kim or Cho: ComicBook.com on Lord Krylar.
