Verizon is offering eligible new YouTube TV customers $20 off per month for six months. That lowers Verizon’s currently listed YouTube TV price from $82.99 to $62.99 per month before taxes, for gross savings of $120. The offer is temporary, account-specific, and not limited by a publicly posted universal list of premium Verizon plans.
The key checks are whether the offer appears in My Verizon, whether you are genuinely new to YouTube TV, and whether changing your Verizon plan would cost more than the promotion saves.
What Verizon’s YouTube TV deal includes
As of August 18, 2026, Verizon’s offer page lists:
- $20 off per month
- Six months at the promotional rate
- $62.99 per month before taxes, compared with Verizon’s listed standard price of $82.99
- Automatic billing at the then-current standard price after the promotion ends
- No annual contract
The six-month discount is worth $120 before tax, assuming the listed prices do not change:

The $82.99 figure is Verizon’s currently displayed standard price, not a guaranteed future rate. Taxes may apply, and the regular price could change.
Who qualifies?
Verizon’s public offer describes the discount as available to eligible mobile and home-internet lines. It does not show one exhaustive, universally applicable wireless-plan table in the offer summary. Eligibility is therefore best treated as account-specific.

- You are a new YouTube TV customer.
- You are at least 18 and have a valid payment method.
- You have a Google account for activation.
- You live where YouTube TV is available.
- You activate through the required Verizon-to-YouTube TV enrollment flow.
Do not assume that every Verizon customer qualifies. Also do not assume that a plan listed as eligible for a different Verizon perk, such as YouTube Premium, automatically qualifies for this YouTube TV promotion. The offer tile in My Verizon is the most reliable practical check.

Verizon’s public offer says it is for new users only. Verizon home-internet offer terms are more restrictive, indicating that current, former, and trial YouTube TV users may be excluded.
If you already subscribe, previously subscribed, or used a trial, do not cancel and restart your service on the assumption that you will qualify. The terms attached to the live activation flow control, and using a different Google account should not be treated as a legitimate workaround.

How to activate the discount
- Sign in to My Verizon.
- Open your products, services, plan, or perks area.
- Find the YouTube TV offer attached to your account.
- Enroll through Verizon.
- Follow the activation link to YouTube TV.
- Sign in with, or create, the required Google account.
- Accept YouTube TV’s terms and select the final activation option.
- Confirm that the price shows $62.99 per month and that the six-month promotional period is stated before completing enrollment.
Save the confirmation email or take a screenshot of the promotional price and duration. If the offer does not appear, your line may not qualify, the promotion may have ended, or the account may have a conflicting subscription or billing arrangement.
What happens after six months?
The subscription normally continues automatically at YouTube TV’s then-current standard rate. It does not simply stop when the discount ends.

Set a reminder for about five months after activation. If you cancel, Verizon says partial billing periods are not refunded. Canceling Verizon service is also not the same as canceling YouTube TV: the discount may end while YouTube TV continues billing at its regular price unless you separately cancel the YouTube TV subscription.

What YouTube TV includes
Verizon describes the base YouTube TV service as including more than 100 live channels, unlimited DVR storage, on-demand content, up to six household accounts, three simultaneous streams, and Multiview features that can show up to four games in supported circumstances.
Local-channel availability varies by market, so check your ZIP code before subscribing. The Verizon promotion concerns the base YouTube TV service and should not be assumed to include every add-on. NFL Sunday Ticket is a separate product, not part of this discount.

The maximum gross saving is $120 over six months. That makes the promotion attractive when it is already available on your account, but weak as a reason by itself to move to a more expensive Verizon plan.

Use this calculation:
Incremental Verizon-plan cost + YouTube TV promotional price + taxes − value of lost perks.
A plan change is usually not worthwhile if it:
- Raises your Verizon bill by more than $20 per month.
- Removes another included streaming benefit.
- Costs you device credits, promotional pricing, hotspot data, international features, or other benefits.
- Requires adding a line or buying a device.
- Does not overcome the fact that your existing or former YouTube TV account may be ineligible.
The deal is more compelling if you already have an eligible Verizon line, are genuinely new to YouTube TV, would otherwise pay for the service directly, and can change plans at no additional cost. It can also make sense if you want YouTube TV for only six months and are prepared to cancel before the price resets.
Before confirming a Verizon plan change, review the account’s summary of benefits and what you will lose. The YouTube TV discount should be an extra benefit of a plan that already works for you—not the sole justification for paying more.
Important billing and plan-management warnings
- +play credit: Verizon says its +play Monthly Credit cannot be used toward YouTube TV.
- Changing YouTube TV plans: YouTube warns that switching plans during a promotion can cause the promotion to be lost.
- Billing route: Plans and management options can differ when YouTube TV is billed through a mobile or internet partner. Moving to direct billing may require canceling through the current provider and subscribing again.
- Channel changes: YouTube TV’s genre-specific plans are separate from the main plan. Switching to a cheaper plan can remove channels and DVR recordings associated with channels no longer included.
- Other Verizon YouTube offers: YouTube Premium and NFL Sunday Ticket have different terms and should not be confused with this YouTube TV promotion.

Check My Verizon before changing anything. If the offer is present and you are a new YouTube TV customer, $62.99 per month for six months is a straightforward $120 gross saving before tax. If getting the offer requires a more expensive Verizon plan, subtract the added cost and the value of any lost perks first. The promotion is temporary, account-specific, and will otherwise roll into the regular YouTube TV price.
