Hudgens has said that she and professional baseball player Cole Tucker met during a Zoom meditation session led by Jay Shetty in October 2020. In her retrospective interview with Vogue, she recalled spotting Tucker in a Zoom square, searching for him on Instagram and receiving a message from him the next day.
“So I proceeded to look on the Zoom square to find out his name and found him on Instagram—and he sent a DM the next day.”
Hudgens also described the meeting in an interview with Entertainment Tonight reported by Us Weekly in April 2021: “Me and Cole met on a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes,” she said.

When they went public
Hudgens and Tucker made their relationship public on February 14, 2021, when Hudgens shared a Valentine’s Day Instagram post, according to Us Weekly. In the same reported interview, she said, “He’s just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy]. I really am.”
Their engagement in Paris
The couple became engaged in Paris in February 2023, near the Eiffel Tower, according to Vogue. Hudgens confirmed the engagement publicly with photographs from Paris on February 9, as recounted by Glamour.
Their wedding in Tulum
Hudgens and Tucker married on December 2, 2023, at Azulik City of Arts in Tulum, Mexico. In its wedding feature, Vogue described Hudgens’s choice of a ceremony surrounded by nature in the Mayan jungle.

First pregnancy and first child
Hudgens revealed her first pregnancy on the Oscars red carpet on March 10, 2024. The Associated Press reported the announcement the following day. Glamour later reported that the couple’s first child arrived in July 2024, but its timeline gives an inconsistent year alongside the date. The reviewed coverage does not establish the precise birth date, the child’s name or sex.
Second pregnancy and birth announcement
Hudgens announced a second pregnancy on Instagram on July 12, 2025, according to Glamour. The publication reported on November 29, 2025, that Hudgens had announced the birth of another baby in a hospital post. That coverage does not establish the baby’s name or sex.
