Gatto — March 5, 2027
Pixar’s Gatto follows Nero, a black cat in Venice who questions the life he has lived and becomes entangled with Rocco, a feline mob boss. Enrico Casarosa directs and Andrea Warren produces; Disney identifies them as the Luca filmmaking team. Disney announced a March 5, 2027 theatrical date. Disney’s D23 2026 announcement.
Ghost Market — March 2028
This planned Pixar film is set around a remote plate-lunch shop on Oʻahu’s North Shore that serves lost spirits caught between life and death. A child named Kyle enters the supernatural setting. Trevor Jimenez and Jesse Andrews direct, and Becky Neiman-Cobb produces. Disney has announced March 2028 as its theatrical release month. Disney’s D23 2026 announcement.
Incredibles 3 — June 16, 2028
Pixar’s announced sequel is scheduled to release exclusively in theaters on June 16, 2028. Peter Sohn is directing; Dana Murray and Brad Bird are producing. Disney’s D23 2026 announcement.
Coco 2 — November 2029
Disney has announced a November 2029 theatrical debut for the sequel. Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina are returning, with Mark Nielsen producing. Disney said new concept art showed Miguel as a teenager and that Benjamin Bratt confirmed the first film’s villain will re-emerge. Disney’s D23 2026 announcement.
Which 2026 Disney and Pixar releases have already passed?
Several titles on Disney’s 2026 calendar are no longer upcoming as of October 8, 2026. Disney’s spring slate dated Hoppers for March 6 and Toy Story 5 for June 19; the fall slate dated the Cars 20th anniversary theatrical re-release for September 4. Disney’s summer announcement said Toy Story 5 centers on Bonnie’s tablet device, Lilypad, and explores “what happens when Toy meets Tech.” The September 3, 2026 fall-slate article reported that the film had surpassed $1.1 billion in global box office; that figure is Disney’s report at that time, not a timeless total.
