Outside the United States, UFC viewing arrangements varied by territory. UFC’s regional information referenced different broadcasters and platforms, and UFC Fight Pass was listed for early-preliminary availability in some markets. What happened in the main event?
UFC 321 was promoted around Tom Aspinall’s first undisputed heavyweight-title defense against Ciryl Gane. The fight lasted only 4 minutes and 35 seconds of the opening round before an accidental eye poke left the contest unable to continue.
Because the stoppage was ruled an accidental foul rather than a decisive victory, the official result was a no contest. Aspinall should not be listed as the winner, and Gane should not be listed as the winner. The result did not produce the clean title-defense outcome the headline matchup was intended to deliver.
Why was the women’s strawweight title vacant?
The Dern–Jandiroba fight was booked for the vacant women’s strawweight championship. That distinction matters when describing the result: Mackenzie Dern won the title by decision, but Virna Jandiroba was not the defending champion at UFC 321.

Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady vs. Matheus Camilo had been scheduled as a lightweight preliminary bout but was removed from the card approximately two days before the event after Al-Selwady withdrew. Camilo did not receive a replacement opponent.
As a result, UFC 321 had 13 completed bouts, not the larger number that appeared in some advance versions of the schedule. The matchup should be identified separately as canceled rather than included among the event’s results.
